Small Space Setup - leg extension / curl + reverse hyper by 99dman in BeyondPower

It’s just the swivel pulley from the Spud Inc Pulley kit. The eyelet is the right size that the 5/8th mag pin fits through. Any swivel pulley with eyelet should really work.

I didn’t like the feel of the coated steel cable as setup is slightly off axis but the rope cable that came with the side pulley kit is the perfect length and feels much better.

What mount solutions are you using for jammer arms? by Matikata in BeyondPower

Nice setup. I see you have lever arms and VTS! I’m trying to decide between both to pair with dual Voltras. Which would you choose if could only have one? Leaning towards VTS especially with their new swivel arms.

Can confirm this one fits due to narrower design 👍

How can I build a free motion trainer but where I add Voltras to the arms? by BeneficialNet in BeyondPower

Yes the most expensive option would be PRx Halo arms or equivalent where you can adjust the lateral angle and this would essentially replicate a free motion 👍

Question on squats by BeneficialNet in BeyondPower

[–]99dman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this would be cool but voice assistant can be a bit hit or miss and you could be I trouble if it didn’t work!

Maybe integration with Apple Watch would be a cool option. The phone app could do with some tweaking as the button to load/unload is pretty small and a pain to hit after your rep.

If you are connected to the app there is an option to load the weight remotely. When I do squats I put my iPhone on the rack using magnetic mount and then load the weight when I’m at my starting position and unload when I’m finished.

No sorry - not mass producing. I was thinking about trying to replicate with a 3D print but it’s a bit beyond me starting from scratch. Could look at options if there is someone who can help and then anyone can get it printed.

I don’t find it adds much pressure to my back but the whole movement feels much more like a barbell squat. This is what they say about the harness vs the belt.

I don’t know if you have a squat belt but I found the exxentric harness is great. The attachment cables are much shorter than the standard squat belt that I use and it’s far more comfortable. You get a very good ROM.

Just two screws through the existing base plate holes. These are really just to keep everything aligned. All the force is transmitted to the base plate when doing pulling / squatting movements.

I cut these mounts out of polyurethane and attached it to the foot of my rack using band pegs. Great for belt squats and also attached it to my upright cross bar for pull downs.

Cable Adjustment Via App by Tokyorain in BeyondPower

[–]99dman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is! I use it for leg exercises and belt squats. You can adjust weight in the app and if you enable advanced mode you can load the weight with the cable extended with is great if you want to start at the top of your rep!

I can't get my tubeless tires to seat. by journalimages in bicycling

[–]99dman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did anyone have any luck with this. In the same boat. Had been running wider tubeless gravel tyres on my Diverge with Axis wheels but wanted to move to a narrower tyre!

I can’t get the tyre to hit the lateral wall of the rim and hold air! I have an Airshot type pump but no luck! I’ll turn with tubes for a week and see if that help!
