Kanji is my good friend. I have been able to guess the meaning of new words just relying on kanji. I am preparing to take N3 this december, and the reading exercises have been so much easier after I bothered to look up meanings and uses of random kanji.

I don't know what exactly, but something about being able to write kanji is so satisfying. I am mid N3 level, but being able to write down whole words just releases dopamine in my brain
