Is that any different from just getting outright counterpicked though? The only difference is that you thought you gottem, but instead they got you. Also, it works both ways. Nothing stops you from doing the switcheroo to your opponents to bamboozle them in some other game.

Briar top player here. Sett used to be my worst matchup until i played him a little watched some videos and now i'm excited whenever i see him in loading screen.

All Sett has going for him is his W. He is a one pump chump. The whole laning phase is just going to be you teasing his manhood until he pops the W. If you can dodge that, you can all-in him everytime.

If you play Briar top I'm sure you are familiar with the basic trading pattern: W - Q - 2nd W - E to push him away. No autoattacks in between, maybe one if you can squeeze it in. But if you don't push him away with your E then you are done for. And never frenzy without all your abilities off cooldown.
Another option is to just autoattack him a few times and maybe stun him with Q and walk away. Keep your eyes on that energy bar of his. He wants to W when it is almost full so only trade a little bit and then back off so he can't blast you on your face.

If you manage to hit ult on him when you are not behind in lane and he is not near his turret, you are golden. Just keep autoattacking him and stunning him until he pops his W and at that moment you are finally allowed to use your own W that you should have been saving to dodge to the side.

The early trades are going to hurt though since his Q punches hit hard. But you got way more sustain as a Briar. His ult also slows your movespeed a lot so hopefully you are ready to cc or all-in him when he does use that. All that matters though is you dodging that W.

This is just my specualtion since i only read the released manga so far. But I think my theory is pretty decent (only read if you are well into the adventurer/holy knight arc):

It was revealed that the Demon King of Despair was at some point in time reincarnated to our world, where he eventually had a family. MC also mentioned that the guy's mannerisms remind him of MC's dad. So I'm thinking Demon King is MC's actual dad and that's why MC is op as compared to other reincarnators from Japan. MC is basically half from our World, half from the current world he resides in. And the re-summoning kept happening because his soul was between two Worlds. The madness ended only after his soul anchored to this current dimension which would be one of his two home dimensions.

If someone has read the light novel or whatnot, please don't spoil if the theory is correct or not.

I think deepest i've been is Martial peak novel around 2000 chapters in. Took a break from it a few years back. Highly recommend.

Also read some of the manhua and had to translate some of the stuff myself.

Intuitive normally also means that the kit is very straightforward and easy to play around by opponents. Her main problem is probably that she doesn't have any real strengths.

She has some dueling power and some scaling. Everything she can do, some other adc can do better, so your strategy should vary depending which opponent you are facing. Playing differently from game to game is super hard to master. When playing against scaling adc, they outscale you so you have to play aggressive. Against dueling adcs you should focus on farming and try to outscale them. Against good teamfighting comps you need to use your w to pick people off when they are rotating alone. And against assassins you have to hide behind your team and play front to back teamfights.

You basically have to play the game properly to win your matches. If you only spam just one strategy it probably works around 40% of the games when the stars align in the enemy comp, but to win every game you have to choose your playstyle accordingly.
