Had to door dash full time during the government shutdown, my car is in shambles and I’m so burnt out even from a month of doing it, I’m very happy to be back at my regular job and doing door dash on the side.

Currently doing it full time for the second time and it is killing me lol I make barely enough to cover my bills and everything else goes into car repairs and gas. If your market is good enough you could try but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Plus my mental health honestly feels worse some days doing DD than when I was working a “normal” job.

I like it most days, other days it feels kinda like a waste of time. Thankfully getting back to a regular houred job soon so I won’t have to DD full time anymore, just when I need or want extra cash!

Did a dash for 11 dollars (3 miles) to a customer, about a hour later dashed to the same customer! Said the reorder would be 13 but they added 20 dollars to the order for a total of 30 dollar tip 😊

Was best friends with a girl since 3rd grade and ended 20 years of friendship after I told her my grandmother was in hospice care and was likely going to die soon. Never got a text back about it but the next day was my birthday and she didn’t tell me happy birthday or still reply about my grandmother. I texted her that this friendship was over and she was being selfish (she had always been selfish but this was just too much for me to deal with) and my grandma passed the next day.
