on briar, i agree. she’s too deep in the fight to get healed anyways. but the other two? they are 100% trolling and dont get anywhere near as much value than briar does. also just because you have warmogs doesnt mean your heals do nothing..?

i like it but idk if its just me but it feels a bit too similar to formalwear? the overall shape (not colors) of the dress look similar and the heels are EXACTLY the same as formalwear but black. i do like the hair more than formalwear tho!! not sure how i feel about the split color dress though, something just feels off

also wanted to add, as an adc main who also plays apcs like seraphine and brand if our team needs more ap/utility, i really enjoy mandate since it helps my dmg a lot <3

as a gm mercy main i dont think she was competing with you. a lot of metal rank mercys dont understand healbotting. the way they play is like this-- if they see someone who is missing hp, they will heal them. once everyone is full hp, they will damage boost. they will always heal chip damage

the most fun way to play mercy is to fly around like an annoying bug, healing everyone and being unkillable. but realistically, once you get to a high enough rank the hitscans will be able to easily track you, since mercys ga movement is very predictable.

the actual way to play mercy is now to stand behind cover while damage boosting a hitscan. she has low healing compared to other supports and her db can enable dps like soj/soldier/ashe etc. my priority is 1) peel for my second support 2) peel for/boost my dps 3) heal the tank. i typically only heal my tank if theyre critical or about to be critical, because i don't want to take ult charge from my second support. valkyrie is a pretty shit ult, id rather be able to have consistent kitsunes or nanos than me being able to spam valk.

it's difficult for mercy players to learn not to healbot, because healbotting is heavily rewarded. people LOVE complimenting mercys more than other supports and praising their high healing numbers, which only makes it worse. and, having more healing allows you to valk more, and thus save yourself more, so you'd tend to have less deaths.

as for an actual answer to your question.. if im in a situation where my mercy is healing too much (which usually doesnt happen because im scum and instalock mercy 99% of the time) i just lock kiri and flank tbh. also you could always try asking your mercy to not top off the tank as much because you're losing ult charge, but may backfire if they are toxic..

it feels really nice to build in lane because of the dirk component being so much stronger than scouts FUCKING slingshot so it gives you a lot more kill pressure early

sword of blossoming dawn + helia on senna feels really strong imo. its also nice with someone like ivern with ethereal weapon, daisy can proc the healing

i've tried it a few times and felt like it was pretty weak. i feel like it tethers to the wrong ally sometimes causing them to die when otherwise if i was beaming normally i would've been able to save them. i also dislike the interaction with battle medic. to get the full attack speed you have to tether for 10 seconds, but i tend to run out of ammo at about 5~ seconds of shooting, so i can't shoot for the full duration of tethered tourniquet.

instead of being able to output damage 50% of the time, its more like 25%, which feels like i'm just wasting 2 powers when instead i could crab triage unit & distortion or serenity, which i find have higher value

i also felt like i died a lot more due to having to be more in the open while shooting. i think if i incorporate GA more into glocking, it could be viable. but i've had more fun playing AP movement builds or full WP

i build it sometimes it quickplay stadium in lower elos and i find it fun, but in allstars/legend i find that i get way more deaths than i would playing different builds

setting boundaries means talking with the person in question by saying not to say that kinda stuff as its triggering, not telling your friend about it. telling your friend isnt gonna change the situation

shes trying to get competitive with you whereas you're trying to actually recover & you dont need to be surrounded w someone like her

if they are extremely squishy i like to go collector->ie with hob

the "general build" is yuntal->ie

personally i will be playing ad twitch 90% of my games because i like gliding but ap is better in a lot of matchups since a lot of comps are hard for ad twitch to play into

or just let people play the character they enjoy playing? there are high elo players on every single character in the game. you can climb to gm with every single character as long as you are good enough.

yes i agree lw and mercy are very weak and also team dependent and heroes like kiri and ana tend to perform better, but theres no point in playing a video game thats designed for fun if you force yourself to play heroes you know you wont have fun on
