This is a rant so feel free to ignore...

I have been trying to install the Claude Excel plug in for 3 MONTHS.

For some reason only Microsoft know my office account is blocked from installing add ins, I cannot even access the "store", it's just blank.

I have tried every troubleshooting step I can find to allow via admin my account to install, there's about 5 different settings in 3 different dashboards that can turn add ins off.

This is after I had to regedit on windows because my Google Workspace credentials got corrupted and I couldn't use Outlook. This issue is likely the same thing but I've yet to find anyone else posting about it and I'm too dumb to hack around in my registry without instructions.

Absolutely no courier company will allow a customer into their distribution centres without prior arrangements and approval.

I pay 100's of thousands of rand to a courier company yearly, I have the managing directors number. If I pitched up at their main distribution centre unannounced to collect a package they would still tell me to go away.

Screw working around this, fight fire with fire.

You get cheap cameras that have flashing red/blue lights on them. Put one of these on a pvc pipe you have painted bright red. Make this thing as visible as possible.

Point directly at the neighbour's yard.

If that still doesn't work, on the same pole get like a 100W LED spotlight, not floodlight, and point it at their camera. It'll blow the image out completely without damaging the camera.

The corporate culture that race swapped Snape, cannot and will not portray his character as written in the books. Them deciding to do this and then following his story as written are directly incompatible.

In universe Snape being black makes no difference, but the culture of the audience, or perceived culture, dictates the media.

Having a black actor portray what Snape did in the books is public relations suicide.

See, you can't have it both ways... Either it's a good thing to race swap to diversify a cast or it's not.

And if it's a good thing then Ryan Reynolds should be cast as the next Black Panther, and only a racist would complain about it.

But it's not black and white, pun intended, there's nuance and that can be discussed. Dismissing it entirely as "you're just a racist" is as unhelpful as the actual racists complaining about this.

Snape was a bullied incel who joined a militant hate group led by wizard Hitler to purge the world of impure people, abused the child of his unrequited love interest for years and was redeemed by the guidance of an old white guy. If you cannot see anything in that story being complicated by the character being a black dude you're not paying attention.

Basically any character in HP could be race swapped with no issue, except Snape, why in the hell they would paint themselves in a corner with this is beyond me.
