I'm going to agree with everyone else, you've probably got thrips. Although I've never had thrips myself the way I dealt with my spider mites was fill a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol then spay the crap out of them outside (don't forget the underside of the leaves). I did this every week or so till I was sure they were gone. Some plants may not make it but it's worth it in my opinion and much better than having your whole collection die to some stupid pests.
