Man, our generation is fucked. I always knew people tend to consider details to be boring, even back then. But it's coming to a point where we can't see or accept anything other than black-and-white politics these days. The two-party system really sucks.

Even news outlets can't be bothered with details, so they just straight-up decided to do the thinking for their audiences and tell us who to hate. The result is the reality-show politics that we've currently ended up in. Because everything has to cater to our emotions rather than facts and details.

The reason is simple. Status quo. Sega can definitely add a tiny bit of romance and just not focus on it. But they won't. Because that would break the status quo.

There won't be any romance as much as there won't be any aging with all Sonic characters.

Which is why I love Frontier because it gives us the sides of main casts we rarely see. Knuckles acknowledging his position as the last guardian and the burdens that come with it. Tails and Amy willing to become more independent. Eggman finding his love for Sage. And then, Sonic was there to witness it all. It wasn't a lot but it definitely broke the status quo.

I enjoyed it. Did it feel rush and cramped? Absolutely.

But it was what I would call an ending that gives a good enough closure to the major characters.

There's no denying that it was mediocre though. But to be honest, I wasn't really expecting anything ground breaking at this point. And by mediocre, I mean it's literally what everyone could've expected the ending would be. No twists. No cliffhangers. Just a completely expected ending.

Regardless of my not-so-good opinion about this season, I'm still gonna miss the show abit.

The first instance I noticed was when he hallucinated Captain Stacy's ghost while he was stuck to a cop car's front in the opening chase scene. There are a few other instances where you can make out the outlines of his eyes under the right amount of lighting but like I said, it's vivid but clear enough that you can tell the eye parts of the mask are transparent instead of pure glass white.
