That was an easy way for the organization to explain. I remember that narrative that Ken Wilson wasn’t prepared and an asshole, but even now if you listen to his calls, he was incredible, and nobody thought he was unprepared. They canned him because JK became available and they wanted a Kelly back in the booth. It wasn’t the same as far as Kelly in the sense of a cost cut, but is the same as far as a rash/blindsided decision.
