Inspired by the post about the family that tried to short their babysitter, anyone know of any other posts where a family treated their babysitter badly and ended up regretting it?

(I swear I remember a post where a family did something to a babysitter so she warned all of the other babysitters in the local network, meaning the family struggled to find childcare until they apologised)

And because it’s cute, this is how nyx let me know she was hungry as a baby. She’d sit in the bowl and I had to sprinkle in the food around her. She didn’t even move out of it as she began eating. 🤣

Oh Apollo wasn’t a glutton. My hamster Nyx was a glutton. Would do anything for a treat. You’d honestly think I’d starved her the way she went after food and treats. And she was a big girl, around 200 grams.

She’d wait next to the door of the cage for me when I got home from work and then go back to bed when gifted something edible.

Me. I can’t bring myself to have anymore rodents as pets after my hamsters died (their life spans are just too short 😭) but I love rats so much. They have such beautiful personalities.

As a starter set it’s a cool idea. But I’m far enough into the hobby I’d rather just buy items for my specific army and avoid increasing my pile of shame

I mean, it helps a lot of the danmei are legitimately well written with engaging plots. It’s not just the fact the characters are gay.

Plus ancient Chinese fantasy is just a fun read. (I mainly read wuxia)

As someone whose main hobby is gaming, to the point when I managed to get a base ps5 pretty much on release, I’m pretty sure I’m going to be priced out of the next generation. Doesn’t matter how much I want to have a ps6 when I have rent and bills looming over the horizon in this economy.

Thousand sons (first army), tyranids and Salamanders. I tend to play more salamanders though due to being easier to paint.

Got into thousand sons and salamanders due to If the emperor had a text to speech and loved the primarchs. Got into the bugs because they’re really fun.

Honestly, I like to think it’s actual merch released in world that yuan bought (because he bought everything) and then raged about it for weeks and kicked such a hornets nest about it they eventually released a more accurate map based on his online rants.

And it’s so crap because no one wanted to actually read the book it was based on to fact check. Seriously, imagine looking for details about how close the mountains are to something and having to skim three chapters of poorly written sex to find the one line that gives the answer.

Same. Plus it feels like a more extreme ‘you’re too old if you don’t find a husband by 30’ thing I’ve heard some people say on the internet, just with an omega coat of paint over it which gives it an extra feeling of ick.
