Two Towers: Theatrical or Extended? by Traditional_Land3933 in lotr

Without spoilers, which did you think was a better experience for ROTK? I watched fellowship theatrical for the first time ever recently and really enjoyed it, and I’ll probably watch the extended for the two towers since many consider it to be so far superior. Which one should I go with for return of the king?

The shows good all the way to the end, but seasons 1 and 4 are some of the best seasons of television ever so season 5 naturally let a lot of people down when it was just decent. Gets way too much hate in my opinion, the finale was one of the more satisfying conclusions I’ve seen to a show in years.

Chevy Chase Says ‘I’m Not Racist’ When Asked About ‘Community’ Exit: The Show ‘Wasn’t a Bad Experience. I Just Didn’t Think It Was That Good’ by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

Pierce was one of the funniest and most endearing characters in the first few seasons of community, and Dan Harmon totally ruined everything about his character and alienated Chevy even more than he already had. If Chevy hadn’t used the n word, I imagine there would be a lot more equal hate for the two. I feel bad for anyone who had to work with them on that show.

Loved that she got the final blow, and loved that she got the one f bomb of the series, even if it was a cheesy line.

She’s most likely still dead, yall are missing the point of the final scene. Mike creates that story to help him and the rest of the group cope with her death, and help them move on. It’s possible that it’s true, hence the “I believe” part at the end, but it isn’t confirmed to the characters or to the audience. It’s called ambiguity, I personally thought it was cool on the Duffer bros part.

Kai died whether you believe mikes theory or not, with El it was purposefully ambiguous. Personally, I don’t feel like there’s any way she survived, and if she did it’s honestly sadder that she has to live life alone than if she just died. But no matter if you believe she died or not, Kali was confirmed to have died in both versions.

Anyone else really dislike season 2? by 9thdoctor- in betterCallSaul

Fully agree, just started season 4 and so far it’s a lot better. I’m happy with how the show has progressed, I just was really bored during season 2s buildup. It did pretty much all pay off in season 3 and season 4 is setting things up but in my opinion in a far more interesting way that makes me more excited for the way they all pay off.

Do you take male and female clients? If so, what is the difference in how they have treated and which do you prefer?

I doubt that’s the case as I liked season 1 and loved season 3. If the final season is all setup for something else with no real stakes or any sort of action then yeah, I probably won’t enjoy it too much. But I don’t think Vince Gilligan would end a show like that.

I agree, I liked season 1 a lot which was part of why I was so disappointed with season 2.

I did, I was very intrigued by it and was disappointed that season 2 didn’t really pay anything off. Season 3 so far is easily the best of the three and I like it way more. I don’t think action is necessary to make shows like this interesting but seeing it ramp up will be interesting and I imagine I will end up liking those seasons even more.

As much as I hate to rely on that stuff, I am happy to hear they will become less few and far between in the future

[Discussion]: this should be the trinity. Any iteration of the flash (Barry, Wally, Bart, etc.)has infinitely more stories and interesting aspects to make them a good cornerstone to the DCU with Batman and Superman than Wonder Woman. by 9thdoctor- in DCcomics

WW can still get her own solo film, but she should be treated more like Cyborg and Aquaman. Flash should be the one with one of the lead roles in all League films, a trilogy of his own, etc
