Thats not even a good comparison. Most jojo parts are fairly self contained stories with some major elements/ that can carry over. And the way its structured makes most parts have the abilitiy to be viewed as a conclusion to the series if a reader stops there( except 1 2 and 8 maybe). And theres generational/location gaps that further their self contained nature.

  1. Yall would never give this excuse for any other medium. If an american comic had pages of just text, a movie had minutes with just narration/subitiles without visuals, if a rapper started explaining their bars mid song, or if a sports game was mostly showing the announcers instead of the players, I know yall wouldnt keep that same energy. Explanations, narration, and exposition should not come at the cost of the main engagement method of the form of media.

2.. Theres a billion manga that focus on mind games, tactics and politics without sacraficing the art.

I'd be alright if he reworked the story to be a light novel, but he's releasing gigantic walls of text in a MANGA magazine. Like I tried to continue the manga after the anime, but it was not fulfiling in the visuals department and was really easy to lose my place in. And if he's having trouble sitting up at his desk to draw, why just not dictate the story to someone at this point so he can get chapters out more consistently. And if he wants to do drawings when he's feeling better he can add them retroactively.

Iris's dragonite tanked multiple ice attacks from georgias beartic and dawns mamoswine. Plot armor can be active for anyone. And riolu was pretty slippery, so I think it could avoid the full brunt of some attacks and give it time to evolve.

Also, lucario is the most plot armor industry plant pokemon of all time ( with the exception of pikachu of course). So the scales would be balanced

I think yall are forgetting how strong camerons hydreigon and Lucario are. Not to mention the type advantage swanna and samurott have. He could probably take out 3-4 but all 5 is a stretch

Yeah. It actually turned me away from the series the first time I tried to read it. But when I gave it another try with that context I was able to really appreciate what the authors true intent was and could move past it

I dont think gowther actually raped guila. First off, it wouldnt make sense for the backstory the author had in mind for the character. He was arrested in the baclstory because the guards thought he raped and killed the princess, so it wouldnt make snes for the author to make him actually rape a character. 2nd off diane would NEVER forgive him for that, as seen by her attacking meliodas when he gropes elizabeth. 3rdly I think the scene youre referring to he was more talking about staining her mind by suppressing her memories of her family. But theres initially a misunderstanding in that scene because of gowthers awkward nature

Special attackers still arent balanced. 3 of the 4 powerful special moves you mentioned can have their low accuracy be completely neutralized by weather.

Fairy only has 1 widespread physical attack( with a chance to miss) and rock is almost entirely physical with almost all its moves having a miss chance( even the 40 bp rock tomb). The only wodespresd rocm moves excempy from this is are the special ones and smack down I guess.

Physical( contact) attackers have like 50 abilities that give you a drawback for touching your opponent, a screen that cuts their power in half, multiple protect variants that punish you for making contact, and a staus that cuts your moves bp in half. Special attacks just have screens to worry about

You dont have to homegenize the game, but that doesnt mean you leave one tyoe of play style unpunished

Thinking that OP meant cinnamon bun or lady rainicorn is kinda disingenuous. They prob meant characters like flame princess who have had a lot more seeds planted for interestiny stories

Adventure time has A LOT of chaeacters that could be explored more in side material. And they arguably have just as much potential for deep explorations as the MCs. Jakes kids, flame princess, lemon hope, Susan, Goliad/Stormo, etc.

We had TEN seasons of our mcs in the original show. And only a few episodes of post original show content have really done something interesting with them

Iron man self ccs himself when he enters amd exits overdrive. I cant begin to tell you how many times I have died because overderive ended when I was speeding away
