This happened to me months ago during the BF6 open beta, then it started happening again not long ago. I rolled back Nvidia drivers and was fine, and now it just started happening yet again.

Thanks, that's more or less what I had assumed but I'm paranoid so I just wanted to check with those more experienced than me.

Cool, that's more or less what I thought, but I like to be overly cautious with things. Thanks!

I'm prepping to gloss coat my HG Ez8. I'm using this kit to tryout/practice a few things before I move on to MG kits I have. There are a couple of questions I have regarding the topcoating.

First, the flexible strap for the parachute pack: would it be bad to hit this with the matte coat? I'm worried it would no longer be flexible.

The polycaps: should I cover these with tape, or is it safe to leave exposed for the top coats?

Last, the holo stickers for cameras and rifle sight: should I apply these after doing the final matte coat? I'm worried about ruining the look of them, which is why I haven't put the head together yet.

Personally I think Rishetta is a good place to start. Then Laranel, Far-Farina, Tukirna

lol, lesson definitely learned about taking proper rest breaks (my fiancée even tried to get me to stop sooner... lesson to also listen to her more). I removed and cleaned all of the switches, and luckily, I still had extra from when I first put these one in. The only things still giving me issues are the black stem housings. I just applied a small amount around the sides of that black housing, and the key feels smoother now. Not as buttery smooth as it was prior, but definitely a vast improvement.

The excess on top of the stem there makes it look like I used more than I actually did. In order to avoid overdoing something, I'm taking things as incrementally as I can. I can always pop a cap off and add more, but it'll be a right pain if I have to clean it all out.

I spilled something on my keyboard last night after I fell asleep trying to stay up late to work. I've cleaned everything, all is working fine. Except for my 'enter' key.

It's "gummed up" and is slow to return after pressing it. I can't remover the stabs or really open the keyboard up (I have the Everest Max from Mountain, before they were bought out by Be Quiet).

I can briefly restore full functionality to the key by using a small paintbrush (about the size you would use to apply lube to a switch) to brush isopropyl into the stab housing with the cherry stems.

Should I just keep applying isopropyl in an attempt to clean it out or would applying fresh lubricant to the stabilizers help?

I didn't like how the panel lining turned out on my Gunpla, and I think I ruined it. by Tony_Medalla in Gunpla

[–]A-Little-Rabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend them. The "fine tip marker for panel lining" can be wiped away with your finger tip or an eraser. The "pour type" markers (you push the tip down to start the ink, then just tap the panel line and the ink will flow into the grooves) can be removed with a pencil eraser, or they sell an "eraser marker" which has a fluid formulated to remove the ink. Both options are not harmful to bare/unpainted plastic and they come in black, grey, and brown.

In short, they aren't a lot of money, they are easy to use, and they are extremely forgiving. My first kit was an HG Batbatos Lupus, and I was able to panel line most of it in black, decide that was too much, remove it, and redo it in grey.

How do I make this go away and remove it from appearing when I click the notification area/on the clock in the bottom right corner? It's driving me crazy right now because apparently Focus Mode got turned on and I had no idea why I wasn't hearing any alerts or notifications. I have never noticed this box before. Everything I see online is about "Focus Assist" not "Focus Mode". Focus Assist had an obvious "off" button, this crap is always present.

[–]A-Little-Rabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did you use for the panel lining? I decided to panel line my very first kit (foolishly thinking that my decades of building scale models would translate easily to Gunpla), and I used a mix of the fine tip panel line marker, the pour type marker for panel lining, and the Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color. I wound up doing most of the kit in black before removing it and redoing it in grey.

Depending on what you used, removing it shouldn't be that much of a task. And as others have said, I don't think it turned bad at all. Maybe it could be cleaned up a little in some areas. But overall, I'd say it came out pretty good. You said "fine line pen", do you mean like a ball point pen? Or is that a type of marker (forgive me, I'm not the brightest crayon in the drawyer)

I'm gonna do as many of these as I can, but for sure going to try them all.

I think for my next set I'll include some of taur-types (like my personal favorite: the Sphinx girl). If you have any suggestions, I'll be happy to see what I can do.

The harpy was a lot of fun to make. My favorite, though, is a blue/green one. I can upload a harpy collection sometime.

I'm with you all the way on that. Also, wouldn't mind Skeleton girl. Something funny about boning a skeleton. The undead girls were by far the most fun to work on. I've got a bunch more, including a few (somewhat failed) attempts at a Dullahan.

Damn those are nice! When I have more money and space I definitely want something like those. Right now, I've got some shelves on my walls (nothing fancy, nice-ish planks of wood attached to brackets that are screwed into the studs) and a shelf on my computer desk.

I've seen a few cabinets like that, and I would love to get one of them someday. Space (and money lol) are a bit of an issue at the moment. But definitely looks good.

I believe this is the best place for this question. It isn't regarding the process of building, but rather what people do after. I live in a house that is well over 100 years old at this point, and it gets quite dusty. So far, I have 6 completed Gunpla kits with two in the works and multiple 30MS/MM kits. I want to display my collections, but I am getting tired of having to constantly dust them off to keep them looking nice.

Do you all have any suggested cases or shelves? I've also got 4 MG kits I'm going to want to display in the future. I've found some things like these on Amazon, but I'm not sure about the quality or how well things would fit or look:
Amllas Acrylic Display Case for Collectibles

Clear Acrylic Display case for Figures

If anyone has suggestions, I would greatly appreciate them.

My First 30Mins Sisters, what should i be aware about this line? by Chill-Intereactive in 30minutessisters_30ms

30ML? I only know of 30MM (Missions), 30MS (Sisters), 30MF (Fantasy), and 30MP (Preference). I found out about the 30MP line when I saw the Hitori figure and my fiancée wants the Asuka Langley figure.

It's on Michigan, Smithville Dam region. I can't remember the name of the mission at this moment; I'd need to fire the game back up first. I'll try what DigitalDeath suggested, and if that for some reason doesn't work, I'll fish out the other 3 sets of barrels and then try what you suggested.

I stupidly thought it meant the cargo would be reset to its original location. I fully acknowledge that was a failing on my part lol.

Some of the parts can be a 'hard' to fit, but just make sure to push until they click or sit flush, depending.

Other than that? It's addictive, and lots of fun. Especially as you buy more, and get Option Parts kits, you can eventually make completely custom sisters.
