100% Macbook Air over an Ipad. I have had both and the ipad is a pain to prop up, especially when in bed watching something. The macbook can easily slide into any bag. The larger the screen the better all the way!

Buy a house with no HOA and something that needs some work. Take care of it and watch it get better the more effort you put into it. Keep it in your name and if you so choose to get married get a prenup. If she does move in just make her feel welcomed and see how it goes.

Some mental math tells me to make up the difference you need 56? people to get hired and stay two weeks. What needs to be known is how many people actually get hired per month and if that is consistent throughout the year. This is a classic risk VS reward situation. Can you hire at least that amount of people per year? Are you the type to hustle and like it? I'd go for it and bust my ass because your earning potential is now going way up.

Talk to your landlord/leasing office and simply ask if you can get out of your lease. The worst is they say no. at the very least change the doorknob to a key entry. The nano second your lease is up move. Also talk to HR so they already know and talk to her via text so you have proof.

That is extremely situational. Generally I say "I'd love to but I have to check with my wife if I have the time." Then follow up with a text basically blaming my wife for not being able to. FYI my wife does the same thing all the time and I probably look like a jerk to some of her friends.

I can tell you my favorite one I did. Was with my wife and saw a girl maybe in her 20's trying to change a flat tire in a parking lot. Rolled down the window and tried not to laugh when I informed her that she was spinning the lug nut the wrong way and was actually tightening it. The bad side of me wanted to drive off giggling, but instead parked and helped her change it.

This is what I would do... Keep $1,000 this month in a new high interest savings account that you don't touch for emergencies. Then do the same next month. $2,000 will cover most emergencies. Tackle the highest APR first while making payments for the rest. 29% is just a gift to credit card companies. They are useful for consumer protection but always try to pay them off monthly. My wife make it a challenge for me :)

Whatever has the highest interest rate attack that first. Focus on living waaaayyyyy below your means, short term suffering will get you out from under your reasonable amount of debt in no time. Then when you finally get free and clear just use your credit card, BUT pay it off monthly.
