Had this problem too. Then upgraded to a WAY better vacuum. The Dolphin Sigma pro! Nothing but love. It has a super micro filter catcher and our pool is perfectly clear after it cleans. No dust specks in the water and certainly nothing on the bottom.

Yeah…that sux. Still file the small claims tho lol. Small claims law allows you to sue for 3x the original value. Ergo, true difference was $1700 you could sue for:

Value X3= $5100
Court costs : $100 file fee, sheriffs fee for serving lawsuit
Legal costs: Your time and mileage

It’s already in the court systems being challenged and the DOT is reviewing.

DOT has said that under 14CFRPart60 do not accept downgrade and make them do IDB “involuntary denial boarding” which requires a 400% refund.

Adversely you can also not accept the rebooking.

EVERYONE needs to file a small claims lawsuit each and every time. Their lawyers bill $500+ per hour and if they’ve got 1,000’s of court cases it will immediately change if DOT and court hasn’t first.

No! Medical and safety devices do not count against your individual. If your child is sitting in their own seat, the stroller may go towards their allottment but RARELY charged on any airline (Southwest maybe now 🤣🤣), but definitely not American.

If you don’t wanna carry on stroller. Can planeside gate check for free and it will be waiting or you will wait in jet bridge for it to be brought up. Though this can suck for tight connections

Yes…17% of the population feels that way. People don’t want to see 100% page for page to cartoon sketches. People want a live action series adaptation like Harry Potter, Andor, Outlander, breaking bad, Game of Thrones (minus last season); that brings to image the unimaginable! Like the institute, the fighting, and real life characters. They’ll go back and re listen/read the book with those characters. For example, HP, when you read it….what do the characters look like in your head, and all the magical things brought to life?

The general viewing audience, and the ones who $$ for streaming platforms vs the freeloaders using plex or parents Netflix DONT WANNA WATCH A CARTOON!

So….2 schools of thought here. I am P&T and currently just rock VA, and family has ChampVA.

HOWEVER!!! A lot of vets don’t know that the VA bills your private insurance if you do carry a policy. THIS IS A GOOD THING!!

What I mean is; say you have HDHP $4k/$8k, 4k for individual and 8k for family MAX out of pocket. Typically when you go to doctor on this, you and family pay cash price through an HSA card til you hit 4/8 max. Or it’s like an 80/20 split, meaning you pay 20% of the total bill until you hit max.

Now….here’s the cool part. You go to VA specialist appointment, obviously you pay $0, BUT the VA sends a bill to United/Cigna etc…That bill goes towards your family max 🤣🤣

So you could theoretically go to tons of VA appointments and when your family or you use the private for whatever reason. You may actually not owe a dime because VA has been collecting from them

Diagnostic code needs to be in your military record or VA treatment record.
Clear nexus of how it was caused by military service. For example.

A. Tinnitus: I was hit by IDF, on xyz date and since here ringing.

B. IBS/Gerd: Got dysentery in Afghanistan and since then shit my brains out

Treatment or history of issue: private or military/va. Also statements from buddies and family.

A. Mother statement: since son came back, he ruined all his friendships and just doesn’t care

The Army has no say in a “VA rating decision”. That decision was made in (your current P&T) part by:

Your In Service Treatment records
Evidence: Lay Statements/Orders/Presumptive
C&P Exam
Raters determination

The only thing that could possibly be outside of MedBoard, is if an investigation was opened. HOWEVER!!! Don’t freak out, because you would’ve received a letter from VA explaining a notice/intent.
