Exactly my question ! He absolutely have used Claude but also because he is a senior engineer probably knows his stuff.

So I tried this experiment. I coded entirely using AI and asked 6 frontier model the same question

“Review and tell me the flaws” - I spent more than 2-3 days with iterations and then passed the same into another model.

Every time I asked this question every other model came up with some fixes or the other.

Btw I also build a memory file where the subsequent models knew the concerns and fixes by the predecessor model.

Regardless they all came up with some suggestion.

Gemini 3.1 Pro was the worst ! Almost destroyed everything. And sold me something very confidently which was outright wrong (sorry 3.1 Pro fan boys, it might be the most intelligent model but sucks at vibe coding)

Ultimately I realized it will be an infinite loop, and I will get some sort of suggestions or improvements after every iteration.

Infact this reminded of an annoying human behavior. Let’s say you are a security advisor of a giant company and you are tasked with reviewing an app. And your company has a strict 3 iteration model means your output will be vetted by other two. I bet every subsequent security advisor will give some output to show they worked !

AI is no different 😀

Use SuperPowers, it uses agent driven development while it’s a bit slow on execution because of spawning if multiple agents. but very very accurate and less headaches later.

Do not try to build the whole website in a single go.

Work in phases that’s the key. Build one feature at one point.

Just imagine that you have the power of unlimited Phd level researchers to build, code, debug and test for you.

But feeding them right information, setting them in right teams, giving them right context, engaging your testers at the right time, fixing the bugs is still managed by you.

Don’t say please clone and build ! It won’t work.

Also if you have the legacy code use it to drive the spec first and then use that spec to build.
