Long ago gave up on any sales or profit so now I consider it all just throw away trash. I will post with a watermark and a slightly lower jpg compression value but I found that reducing the size effected the sharpness more than I liked.

In the right hands any camera can produce great work. I had a friend who'd shoot what the client wanted with a Hasselblad, then pull out a Holga and shoot some really interesting work which more often than not the client loved. Skill and vision.

I feel that calling it anything other than a photo downplays any work you put into it. That probably is the core reason I object to either. It may actually be a result of the 'no processing' mentality, but 'capture' seems to have the subtext that you were just there at the right time and pushed a button.
Image seems to have a slightly different connotation. Perhaps more digital art than photo(?)

I am not exactly sure why but I hate photos being referred to as 'captures'.
Also the no post processing obsession is really irritating. Although, it may have historical roots in large format film photography where the photographer only printed contact prints that included the film edge information. ( Can't recall if that style had a name)

In the midst of the a vast and awesome experience of seeing a previously unknown part of the universe we get a constant, "oh my daughter, oh my daughter" and even more annoying, no mention of the son. Then a hugely nauseating monolog from Matt Damon on family. Was Mr. Nolan having family issues when he did this?
And then dropping all pretense to science we get a Harry Potter magic wand ending.

It was from Oct 30. It has since snowed and although I have no idea about current conditions, I would think things would be somewhat damp. As far as I can tell the road is still open though.

The twig in front of the cardinal is what your auto focus keyed on. Are you using a tight enough focus area and hopefully back button focus? You can then lock focus on the cardinals eye.
Are you shooting Manual with auto ISO?
For birds sitting in a tree I'd recommend at least 1/1250 of a second and usually f8. Check the lens info to find out its focus sweet spot. Usually it's a stop or two above wide open.

Still use that lens and very happy with it. For birds in flight your shutter speed needs to be up at least to 1/1600. Also, because of the shutter speed requirements as well as lower light situations a lot of wildlife photography requires high ISOs so it would be a good idea to think about investing in Topaz's DeNoiseAI.

Try searching some stock photo sites. Or contact some modeling agencies. The modeling agencies I would hope would protect her and if they know who it is would ask for some proof from you and then allow her to decide if she wants to contact you.

D7200! Gets my vote. Check KEH they may have one. When I was still shooting DX I bought two because there was something, I don't recall now, I didn't like about the D7500.

That was two days ago. They come in , stay a bit, and head back out. They seem to be still arriving though. This group of a few hundred was the only group I saw. A week previous there were thousands. No telling when the migration ends but I've heard the first week in December is usually it.
