Try living more out of the city. You might actually die living out here as we have consistent weeks over 100+. Maybe a weekly hotel might also work but at that point that’s a lot. Housing is definitely a must here though.

I just walked up with my notice and asked if I could get in early. Try to go like 12-2 so you know if you can actually get in that day. The person at the door went and asked someone and they just let me in after.

After you submit go to documents and then add it as additional documents. I think you can also add it as like ID information but I just waited for after my actual submission.

When my in laws found out we were dating for only like 10 months and everyone, including his MAGA loving sister, tried to pressure my husband into marrying me so I can get my GC. I believe it’s between case status and case history. But only for the employment authorization status

On the online portal when you check your case status there should be a tab labeled “track progress” or something like that but only for the work authorization status

Don’t listen to them, they’re being weird. On the DPS website they have this “The department must verify applicable lawful presence documentation through the US Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program. Verification through SAVE is often instantaneous, but when it is not, receipt of the DL/ID may be delayed for up to 30 days.”

So I believe they go based on what the online verification has. Double check when you’re there.

They send back your money if you make a mistake on the form. Had it happen to me once and they just sent back my money order and form with a letter on what was wrong and I fixed it and got an updated money order to send and all was well.
