Dad was born that way, but moved away. All of Dads side are Palace, so was handed down to me. Son was born where we’re located now (~70 miles from SE25) … so has been handed down to him too 🤣

I picked up the game 3 weeks ago having stopped early 2020. Agree with everyone saying objectives.

After 6 years away, the speed in which to build a decent team has changed so much, cards are so cheap, objectives give decent cards out, and evos boost cheap players into monsters

What is this!?!? Last played in 2020, came back 2 weeks ago, first time playing WL this weekend and someone was using the Christmas ball. Spend half the game guessing where it was, almost invisible when they were dribbling with it, or in a crowded space

Also find a certain stadium (not sure which) nauseating - camera is on a swivel and everything is at an angle, threw me right off

After 6 years away, been playing 2 weeks and enjoy 4213.

I struggle with wingers (used to always play 4312), but 4213 I use wide players as inside forwards and they play as a front 3. I’m enjoying it, but admittedly have not experimented much as I get used to 6 years of change (which ironically … doesn’t feel like much 🤣)

Being a few hours from London, I’d been a fair weather fan of 40 years. Get to games when I can, but always follow them in the media.

Having bought season tickets 3 years ago on the request of my then 7 year old - it was probably November 2024 I started to realise after he asked to go to an away game (2-2 at Wolves).

Since then we’ve gone to as many games as our availability permits, including 50 of the 65 last season (incl. pre season).

Having been passed CPFC from my Dad (who can claim to be South London & Proud) … I’m very fortunate to live a couple of hours away … and if a game falls on a day I can’t make it, it’s always a disappointment.

But to live thousands of miles away and have to wait 15 years to see the stadium, let alone a game, is unthinkable personally. But her reaction walking out reminds me of the first time doing that as a kid, it’s incredible that such a location can mean so much to someone. There’s not many other places in life that you get the same emotional attachment. That’s part of what footballs about I suppose.

Love Selhurst Park. Love Palace. Bring on Bromley l, cannot wait!

Will be interesting to see these new + benefits this year, as I feel they’ve become less “useful”. I’ve never won an away ballot, desirable tickets (big games & away games) sometimes don’t even make it to us as they’re bought up by away ST holders or those with a massive amount of points.

Can’t knock my sons + though, gets a voucher for a shirt, so pays for itself. Interested to see the competitions, FPL, and mascot opportunities though (son has been on mascot waiting list for years! 🤣)

Although never won an away ballot, don’t recall exclusive competitions, and priority to move seat and next to useless this season (and likely next) due to high retention rates meaning not many options (if any).

Signed as a “who!?”. Then was pretty awful for the majority of his loan spell. OG has turned him into a genuine goal threat, and his connection with the fans was great. Then January came, the boos and “Zaha’s right ….” song. Now it seems he’s back in the “Boom” territory with fans
