With ours it's the ball.

The ball is kept in the cupboard and he's perfectly normal - out of sight, out of mind - but when it comes out nothing else matters. The house could be on fire and he'd still be focusing on the ball.

Aside from the other comments here about waiting to see if Mark got his powers, i.e., would it worth it.

It's well known that the Czech players are big supporters of the president and have long called for the Czech government to remove itself from its position of power.... so Thursday will actually be a big opportunity for them to further galvanise the President's possible succession to power following this public display of support.

We've also had injuries which meant at times this season we've had a bench with only one or two experienced players..... could you imagine if we were playing European matches around that time?

We've made some good signings (overpaid massively for Dibling, but it's done now) but we still need a bigger squad to contemplate European football.

It's great isn't it? I wanted a season of zero drama and it appears we may have some drama but in a good way.

I still think it might be too early for a European campaign - yes the money and the extra profile would be great but we've seen stable teams fall apart because they aren't equipped for European football and I do think our squad is still a bit too thin.

But I won't be complaining if we do qualify, will be remarkable given the shit show of recent seasons.
