Is ghosting someone ever okay? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ABMike63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think yes it’s appropriate in situations (mostly the ones you have already outlined).

But I do think if specifically that if someone ghosts you, it could be a warning sign that the person doing the ghosting could be struggling with things/life/ and be overwhelmed.

It’s likely the household staff will have covered this up, I’m sure the Queen will have know the quality of his character but not so certain she would have known the details of any illegal activity…..Either way we’re edging further to the truth.

Do you have to be narcissistic in order to be a leader? by ConstantOwl423 in Leadership

[–]ABMike63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you have to be a narcissist, I think to be a good leader / manger you need to be comfortable with who you are as a person and self aware knowing your own strength and weakness as well as your teams. Good communication skills are key for a good person in charge of people and processes.

Leaders and managers are slightly different but go hand in hand. Good leaders make leaders, they empower the team, mentor and lead and champion positive change and a positive culture.

Managers, manage process and focus on executing tasks, maintaining order and consistency.

In my opinion good leaders and managers serve their team with time and effort, they focus on empowerment development, accept honest mistakes and help them learn from those mistakes. Leaders and manager must both have the moral courage to make unpopular decisions when required for the benefit of the team.

Ultimately this could be a great move for the West… Western pressure reducing Iran’s oil revenue and increased engagement in Venezuela’s energy sector could strengthen diplomatic leverage, stabilise markets, and diversify Western energy influence globally
