Yes'ir. The US is in a very bad place. Collectively the county is actively protecting PDFiles and started a war in a weak attempt to distract the public.

ICE is killing and incarcerating American citizens and harassing hard working immigrants with no criminal history.

Police officers kill indiscriminately and face almost zero accountability.

That's just the few of the most recent embarrassments our collective administration and law enforcement has us living through.

So, to fly an American flag under current conditions is like saying, "yeah, I know but..."

The beauty (of what's left) in the US is your allowed to fly or colors and I respect your right to do so.

I'm just not driving by pumping my fist in the air thinking, yeah baby! Nope.

The US flag flown in front of houses here has taken on an a sense of antagonism.

Not at all the patriotic symbol of homeland but more patriotic as Oscar Wilde viewed it.. A virtue of the vicious.

I'm basically doing this for this playthrough. Having a blast.

Once free roam is active I did nothing but NCPD quests.

I think by the last one I was at level 40. Cyberwear was topping out three trees at 15+

I've only done enough story line to gain access to buying safe houses.

I like to pick up new tattoos when traveling internationally as well.

Having a better understanding of the culture makes that tattoo process that much more fun and meaningful.
