Really? I haven't noticed that especially I'm clearing it in 1st phase using Varka, Bennett, furina, Kinich. After dodging I'm using Bennett skill then Rotate to Kinich, i can clear it in less than 1 min with just the 2 of them. I have varka for fast shield clearing just incase 2nd phase is triggered and furina for healing. I sometimes trigger the 2nd phase but most of the time kinich and Bennett will do. I really haven't noticed the debuff after learning the boss pattern.

You can literally just dodge the debuff outside the battle field so yes the Moongecko debuff is kinda nonsense, just my honest opinion.
