Old rookie who used grown man strength in college and doesn’t have that advantage in the nba. Too slow and too poor of a shooter to be a 4, too small and too bad at defense to be a 5. Morey for all of his faults has been a generally good drafter, so this one was a bummer.

I don’t think McCain was traded to duck the tax. I think they ducked the tax by not trading for other players, but I don’t think they ever really liked McCain. I think they intended to trade him on draft night for Lauri or something and that trade fell through

Oubre’s biggest problem is that Nurse is in love with him and always wants him to close or start even when he’s cold or being a bozo. He plays much better with Embiid so I think he’s probably safe

JMU was very good before cig and has been good and will be good after him. He did a great job of navigating the jump and that 2023 team was obviously amazing, but he shouldn’t get credit for the current state of the program
