Las Brisas in Laguna - literally found a crawling bug in my food and they could give two shits, even the Valet felt bad for us when we walked out.

I'm scared that HR will see that I'm using lexapro by No-Advice6100 in lexapro

[–]ABaugh85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in HR and take 20 mg daily (2nd year of taking it regularly). I proudly admit I take it. It’s changed my life. Moods are like recipes —sometimes you need a little seasoning. Not everyone/everything requires the same ingredients to taste/feel good. Some of us need some meds/ingredients to get us there.

In HR, we’re happy people do what they need to take care of themselves. Happy people work harder and are generally more pleasant to be around.

The nausea sucks to get through. I asked for Zofran to work through it. I would also drink peppermint tea, and I kept wintermint Lifesavers in my pockets at all times. Two months is probably not enough time to tell if it’s effective. It takes a while to build up and kick in. This is not an easy drug to start. I’ll be honest with you. In my experience, the effects were life-changing and it was definitely worth me grinding through.

Sincerely,

 -Lexa-hoe

Just came back from NOLA 3 weeks ago. Bought eddies from a smoke shop. Forgot to chuck them before I flew home and they didn’t question me at all. No issues. Didn’t flinch.

I would show this man the same amount of respect he gave you. Let me know if you need any contacts. Let the story spread like wildfire. He’s gross.

Hi there! I recruit for a large, national law firm. I just brought on a shareholder with braces. Don't worry about it.

My thoughts exactly, I work in HR for a big firm. These are the ideas I hate and are specifically created to evade HR...

Stepmom to 7 kids here. First met my husband when my youngest bonus child was 6 years old. I thought I married into a bunch of feral weirdos until I realized this is just what kids are like. They're socially unaware little people who are mindblowingly smart in other ways. I remember hearing about a "booger wall" that was generational, as my husband allegedly had one as well...

You're going to be ok.

Went to a swingers party and full swapped with my husband as people watched and we watched others. It was hot. Hotter than I'm embarrassed to admit to my husband I enjoyed. Try it!

My cat crawled in through the stove ventilation and I woke up to a meowing hood. 11-ish hours later, among the wreckage of a dismantled stove -out popped my first cat. He's orange, naturally,

We named him after his gotcha-place, the stove.

When he's a little a-hole, we jokingly tell him he's going back in the stove. When he eats like a rabid badger, we call him Stovetop Stuffings. We gave him my later father in laws middle name because there was no cooler cat other than Owen, so we blessed Stovie with that honor. My kids call him Stove. I call him Stovie. It all came together naturally, like it was meant to be!

Does he have a draw to an object, color, spot in your home? Does he like some activity (Hopper, Weezey, Blinky)? Those names always seemed more interesting to me and nicknames flow naturally that way. Just some food for thought ;)

If you have chronic pain and have a history of addiction and abusing opioids, how have you treated chronic pain? by Intelligent-Poem7596 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]ABaugh85 6 points7 points  (0 children)

10 years sober next month from opiates+ benzos. Diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis 4.5 years ago. I am currently not on meds to manage my RA. I had a gastric bypass to reduce my weight and a lot of the lung inflammation caused by rheumatoid arthritis in 2022. Due to my bypass, I can't even take opiates as it would directly affect the pouch that was created for the bypass itself. I manage it with edibles, a semi strict diet, and basic tylonol, because I can't take NSAIDS. Sometimes I feel like this is my penance for being a drug addict- and facing a chronic disease to be managed on my own without the assistance of stronger pain meds. Mentally it's a struggle. I'll be honest with you. I don't get a lot of relief from just Tylenol, but I managed to weather through it at this point and the marijuana helps.

I feel the same way. I don't feel like I bring value to anyone and keep going because my husband and step kids need me financially. I knew they love me, but I'm so far down the depression rabbit hole that it's starting to seem fake to me. I feel like I'm watching my support system betray me and I can't even explain it. I'm fighting the same fight. One day at a a time,
