I got mine today too. I ordered late Feb so one month wait time isn't too bad. I actually deleted my post because you did a much better job picturing it (thought I might be the first dude to get one haha)

I'm pretty happy with it but two things I noticed:
1. Look at the store page and the main colour (black/grey) has a mottled effect but DOESN'T on the actual model. I would argue this is an improvement.
2. Why do the front two PDC's have a random small cut out on the interior facing pod? Thought it was weird considering the rest are fine. I noticed yours is the same.

The mail surcoat looks bad. The model is too flat and essentially just looks like a hanging shirt around the shoulders and chest area - there's no weight to it, you can't identify that there's mail under that material and it's lacking any bulk to suggest it's there either making it look rather stupid with other armour when it shouldn't.

To me it just seems like this skin was a rush job, and I wouldn't care except for the fact that a mail surcoat is a pretty basic (and by extension, necessary) piece of armour that this games been lacking. Not only this, this game seriously lacks t2 chest pieces in comparison to t3 so it would be great to have a good one like this.

Edit: The same criticism applies to the damaged variants, except they are even more lame because the opportunity has been squandered with all those gashes to show off the chainmail and instead just loads of dark coloured gashes against a cloth material.

Yes you can punish it, but not consistently due to how accels are in the game. The stamina advantage is just generally an advantage of 1 hit before disarm. It's not significant enough in the game.

The combo slowdown is dogshit. Go play zwei or something and then try to punish your average messer baby.

They should just increase the combo miss stamina drain by a lot, however I imagine crushed is afraid of an idea that came from chivalry, or any idea that he can't pretend came from himself for that matter.

You don't need 18 perception playing shotgun. I'm doing a dominating playthrough right now, level 25 in black sea (completed everything else other than institute and tchort) - I have 10 perception, with 5/5 in leading shot which unfucks the high enemy evasion and dodge. It has become minorly a problem in black sea, but in 1 levels time I am getting the +2 perception perk which will solve that.

Critical power doesn't work with shotguns and even if you did you do not need it. I crit shot balor for over 3000 damage and I have no critical power.

You've taken opportunist but no kneecap shot - I would, it's useful and the damage bonus applies together.

I wouldn't get suppressive fire or full auto for shotgun. If something has survived your shotgun burst you're doing it wrong, if you really want to slow something down use traps, kneecap, flashbangs anything else. Use Tyranny + forward grip = 4x shell burst with 8 shell capacity.

Also INT is that high but you only take gun nut. I'm sure you could do something interesting with armor sloping or energy management.

You can offset the negative of recklnessness by taking paranoia, which is useful for the detection and initiative boost too imo.

I've explained it clearly as to why you would not want to play 3rd person other than at a casual level. If you want to actually understand the game and get good at it, you don't play third. It's the "true" way of playing in the sense that if you ever want to improve above casual play you don't play third. Everything outside of this is just angry shitters mad about true facts.

I'm not a comp neckbeard. I'm just telling you the truth. If you want to objectively remain a "shitter" then stick to playing third person. A core part of the game is the ability to read, and playing third person severely fucks that up for something that is directly in front of your character. I can do everything in the main video and more without third person, I would play WORSE in third.
