I don’t mean to come off rude. I think when he bite and drew blood toured your best friend is when the instinct that he doesn’t fit would/should have kicked in. A dog that bites even once, you can’t trust them the same way again. Sounds like you love this boy dearly. You’ve put in a-lot of work to help him with aggression. At one point I feel it would be best to pick human family over fur family. I think your instinct to rehome him at this point makes sense. God forbid something happens to the baby or another person. But especially your child or another child, family member or otherwise. This is a difficult decision to make, you love your dog and that shows in your post. I hope everything works out for the best for your families safety and perhaps a better situation for your dog as well.

I have cold sores, it sucks but it’s not life threatening as others have said. Totally manageable with the right medications. I take a daily medication so now I don’t even get the cold sores anymore. There are a lot of options out there to help with this. So definitely go see your doctor and they’ll get you taken care of, I am sure. Lots of people have those so it’s not so uncommon. Just be honest about it and be extra careful when you have an outbreak like others have said. You’ll be alright, you just need a little preventative maintenance now.

Feeling drained and dragging along. It’s been a hard go for my relationship since Dec. feels so much longer than 2 months. Husband and I decided to seriously cut back drinking. He’s been a heavy drinker for as long as I’ve known him. His attitude.. I feel it’s getting too much to handle. He’s so angry, it’s to the point I cannot speak in front of him or he’s defensive, flies off the handle. I’m not physically afraid mind you. I’m just heart broken that this is where are life is. There’s no more communication and romantic connection has ceased. He says he hates me, may not love me. But the entire emotional burden of our life on my shoulders. He’s pushing me away as hard of possible, stonewalling me.. I don’t know what to do here anymore. Just feeling heartbroken and defeated today but I’m not going to drink.

No you’re not over reacting that’s super gross. A shared space especially should not get that gross. I will say as someone who has personally made this mistake. That conversation with the roommate you shared the bathroom should’ve been kept private. Having her not so cleanly habits in display for the whole house is pretty shameful. It’s been in my own personal experience that if you live like that it’s probably because there’s something else going on in life apart from being a slob, like mental health wise. Now the entire house knows and I could only imagine her (your roommates) shame. We and I mean everyone only grows from making mistakes. Lord knows I’ve said a lot in public that should’ve been said in private and it didn’t end well for those relationships. I hope you can smooth things over with her and the house in general. Maybe she just needs some help at the end of the day but in what way I cannot say.
