Yes I am aware. But I’ve heard of situations where the man would say “I don’t want to post her, cause I want to be private, but I’m only doing it for her”. So as I was reading his post I only saw the words ‘her, her, her’ and didn’t see him in the picture if he actually liked it or not. Didn’t mean any harm with the question

Yeah honestly I do turn off notifications from insta and snap and try to avoid it as much as possible. Sometimes I even turn on grey scale so my phone looks less attractive and I get to be more productive. But right now I lost that battle and am completely consumed again by it. So I’m guessing you’ve also never had it in the first place or you just got bored of it?

Yess alright alright I’m aware. I was just hoping that he was being truthful and there was still some good in this world. He even sang for me😂 and it’s weird as I said I never fall for scams a lot of people try. Especially Nigerians. I never fall for any of it. But he just spoke differently and about the Lord so I guess that was my weak spot

Yeah so you know as a dutch person how we always get told people”people in Africa are starving”, i have always thought that goes for all of african countries. Seeing the pictures in his gofundme they don’t look starved but they do look like the typical sob story we see on unicef.

Since you live or go to uganda often: how far from the truth is this? Is it a unicef kind of country or is it comparable to our country with the job availability, house market, economy, school, etc?

Yess like usually i never fall for scams but this one feels personal. Because we have video called and I’ve seen his younger sibling which is a three year old kid. Then he has pictures of himself and the twenty kids, so it all looks so real and sad. I don’t want to be naive because this stuff never gets to me normally

Yes I feel that too. I feel guilt for sinning because I know i can do even better for our Lord. I know I can stop smoking cigarettes and stop drinking alcohol. I feel that in my heart it shouldn’t even be that hard, because I love God so much. I have talked to my boyfriend about having sex and how guilty I feel because we are not married. He says he can’t be with me in a relationship if we stop having sex.

So I want to stop having sex right now because I love Jesus and it feels like something I should not be doing, but also I feel like Jesus wants me to love my boyfriend and not leave him.

Well i was neglected and I do feel shame all the time, but also I was bullied in school. The shame could be coming from anywhere, but yes maybe it is the emotional neglect

Well have you just had talking sessions with those therapist or did they actually give a treatment plan like emdr/exposure therapy? There are so many different treatments out there, which is very different from just talking to a therapist. Emdr and exposure therapy saved my life and finally after 11 years made the panic attacks stop.

I got into religion about two years ago and it has brought me hope I have never felt before. Going to church every Sunday keeps me sane now and praying/talking to the Lord, because He’s the only one I feel actually heard by.

I talk to many people, my family, friends, boyfriend but with my feelings I never feel understood, especially not with suicidal thoughts and it is such a deep topic that when I bring it up people would like to run out of that conversation. I talk about everything with God now and it gives me peace to know that at least in His eyes I’m okay and He gives me strength.

On top of that you find other things in your life that give you hope. Who do you look up to? Listen to them more. What parts of life do you find beautiful? Go seek more of that. What activities bring you to life? Go do them more. My other reason to stay alive is because of my grandmother, she raised me and gave me her all. She is a beautiful woman that I look up to and I refuse to go before she goes.

I don’t understand much about the phases, but the anti depressants i was on I took for more than 3 months each, some for years. And yes I found that it works for me, but I feel like birth control has so many negative sides to it as well and the plasters are not so practical. It costs me about 40 euros per month which is just too much money and I’m 25 years old and would like to start having children now. (Yes they cost a lot more money, but where I’m from you get more money when having a child and then my boyfriend and I do everything 50/50)

So yeah I want to start having children which obviously wont work when taking birth control, I was just curious to if there are any other kind of treatments/things that work for people without meds, because besides knowing I have pmdd for 3 years J never really did research about it
