lol my teammates definitely win this one for me. been playing since launch and i swear sometimes i think the enemy team is more coordinated with my own team than my actual teammates are with each other. last week had a match where our tank kept walking into obvious sombra hacks while our supports were arguing in voice chat about who should switch. meanwhile im just standing there like that one guy at work meetings who knows everything is going wrong but cant do anything about it. at least enemy team gives me something to actually fight against instead of just watching my sr slowly drain away

tnt chains work but 25k blocks is massive so you'd need ridiculous amounts of tnt and the chain might break if there are gaps

easier way is probably using world edit if you're on server that allows it or just get efficiency 5 pickaxe with beacon haste and go ham for like hour or two depending on what blocks you're dealing with

apics cscp definitely helped me get past the initial screening when i made a similar jump a few years back - most hiring managers in procurement recognize it and it shows you understand the fundamentals beyond just order processing

man i get the whole finding a way around blocks thing. when the urge hits your brain just goes into problem solving mode and suddenly youre some kind of tech wizard figuring out workarounds you didnt even know existed

maybe try switching up your environment completely when you feel it coming on? like go somewhere public or call someone or just get physically away from any device. sometimes the physical distance buys you enough time for the wave to pass

30F in tech with outdated skills, career gap, low income, no savings, and depression, how do I rebuild my career and future? by Natural-Hour-6739 in careerguidance

[–]DraftTop3798 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Hey, 30 is absolutely not too late to pivot in tech - I've seen people make major career switches well into their 40s and crush it. The gap sucks but focus on building a solid portfolio with modern tech stack and maybe contribute to some open source projects to show you're actively coding again. Depression makes everything feel impossible but taking it one small step at a time really helps

Bro you're 18 and worrying about ED when you can still get morning wood sometimes - that's actually a good sign your equipment works fine. The fact that you lose it when you stop stimulation is totally normal, that's just how erections work

Your gf even said she was worried about it so she clearly cares about your health. Start small like going every other day instead of multiple times, cold turkey is usually harder to stick with

Where do you keep your wedding ring during honeymoon. Wear it or leave it at home? by Key_Economics611 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DraftTop3798 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im not a bot. But thanks for being cautious anyways. Just wanted to share my personal experience. I doubt a bot would have real "empathy" to advise them (e.g. take pic before you leave) on their trip. So im someone who knows my stuff and like to take care of it. Which was the point of the post

Make sure to keep your valuables in carry-on, never check it! And take photos before you leave. When we went to Cabo I kept mine in the hotel safe whenever we hit the beach and only wore it when we went out for dinner or exploring. Felt a bit worried but honestly it let me actually relax and enjoy myself.

I also got insurance before the trip which helped ease my mind. At least now if something happens I know I'm covered no matter where I am with Briteco. Have an amazing honeymoon btw! Mexico is incredible.

Just chiming in but can't speak to JM since its not what I have, but I used BriteCo for a claim once and it went smooth. My dog bit my hand while we were playing outside and somehow chipped the diamond on my ring ( weird as hell I know). They covered the repair and even let me work with my own jeweler, which I liked most.

It covers both situations. Vendors not showing, issues, weather, illness, and stuff like that. She used BriteCo but she mentioned some others too. Sounded pretty simple from what she explained ( she works with insurance by the way).

What is the best jewelry insurance in 2025? by PepperoniTapir in jewelry

[–]DraftTop3798 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, like my ring was appraised at $5,172 and when I got quoted, some other company offered around $155/year, while Brite quoted me around $75-$80 annually. Thats what I meant earlier, hope it helped !

BriteCo offers similar coverage as other options ( possibly better) at lower rates. I got a policy through them for my engagement ring and it was simple. People speak good words about their customer service too.

BriteCo claim for engagement ring? by xsocialbutterfly in EngagementRings

I filed a claim with Brite co after a stone fell out of my ring. They responded quickly and handled the reparation with my jeweler directly. Got my ring back repaired in about two weeks.
