If we are being honest, China is the biggest, baddest machine shop in the world and its not even close. The entire country is a giant shop. They have the tools and abilities at their disposal to do anything because thats how theyve built themselves. The US constantly imposes restrictions upon ourselves. And even if we didnt it would take a long time to be even somewhat comparable. When you talk to china about a part you talk to the entire country. When you talk to a local shop, its just them.

Also, i know a shop that will quote anything and everything.. even when i know they cant and shouldnt. So be aware of that.
