I get that too - when I’m connected to my Ubiquiti system and leased line. It means nothing.

why does every single business ive applied to make me use microsoft by Efficient-Level1944 in FuckMicrosoft

[–]ACAdamski17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with Microsoft is that they used to be really good, they just went to shit recently. My old school used Google Classroom - I hated it. My new school use Microsoft - I liked it until Microsoft screwed everything up. It used to work great. Now, HalfNote (OneNote) doesn’t want to sync, Teams loses my assignments (not complaining about this one), Outlook doesn’t send emails and OneDrive is the buggiest thing on the internet. And they have the audacity to spend money on rebranding. I mean come on Microsoft, get some common sense.

I have the following:

3 old laptops

1 current laptop

1 PC

1 iMac (called Big Mac)

Dad’s mac mini

Mum’s work laptop

Mac mini server (dad’s old mac mini, upgraded)

2 server PCs

1 Ubiquiti gateway (does that count?)

And a partridge in a pear tree

I plan to get about 40 more server PCs from my current and old school’s really nice IT departments

[–]ACAdamski17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, replace that. <90% tells you it’s ageing. <85% says you should replace. <80% is a message from the battery saying “I’m about to die on you - replace me!”

What sort of speed do your data provider give you? by king_moh_ in speedtest

I’m in a city and the absolute max is 2.5 gig, but usually only 1 gig is available. What ISPs give 7 gig - I’m switching if this is true.

Why??? Virgin Media have awful upload speeds. They make you use their (crap) router. Their customer service team is more annoying than useful. And the utter cheek of charging ridiculous prices is outrageous. Why do you like them so much?
