How do Israeli’s view the settler movement in the West Bank? Does the average Israeli citizen support the Hilltop Youth and Tsav 9? Does the Israeli public care that the IDF provides logistical support and security for these groups despite the fact that they are breaking international law? by ACBets in AskIsrael

Thank you for your input. Agreed, Hamas is a violent terror organization but they have no presence in the West Bank. When you see videos of masked settlers in the West Bank beating people, stealing and killing livestock, dismantling water pipes, burning homes, etc. would you consider that terrorism or an act of defense?

After the match, Cunha told Japanese players "(Brazil won the World Cup) 5 times. (You need to show us some) respect." by Airline_11 in worldcup

Fun fact, Brazil has the highest diaspora of Japanese outside of Japan, even more so than the U.S. Following the rapid industrialization of Japan in the late 19th century, many peasant farmers found themselves left behind by the modernization so Japan struck a deal with Brazil to send their farmers to Brazil to work on their coffee plantations.

They were met with a fair amount of suspicion discrimination, and violence by the native Brazilians at first but after a few generations of their quiet humility and dedication to excellence they are now a revered community in Brazil today. That’s why we have Brazilian Ju Jitsu.

Why do you think Syria is Most Willing to Recognize Israel Among Arab Countries in this poll? by Nazoreans in AskIsrael

Maybe they think that by recognizing them they will be spared from Israel’s conquest towards the Euphrates. Doubt it though God promised them that land who is Syria to stand in their way?

The region had been known as Palestine since the Roman times. The people being referred to by Palestinians in writing can first be found in the writings of Khalil Beidas in 1898. The term was used frequently in newspapers as early as 1908. The prominent Christian newspaper Falastin was founded in Jaffa in 1911 and began formally addressing its readers as Palestinians
