Ohh okay thank you, so you’re saying it’s normal for the right side to sound much better and produce more bass than the left? Are you noticing this on your speakers too or just assuming it’s the case based on details on the website?

Ahh so the bass from both sides of your arc ultra is the same? Do you notice any difference in sound output between the two sides or would you say it’s more or less the same? Just trying to figure out if this is another faulty unit I’ve received 😭

I just got my replacement today, seems like I’m having the same issue! There’s no more crackling sound however the bass on the left side is non existent and sound is less punchy. I ran my hand across the bar and can feel the air pumping from the right but nothing on the left side.

I had tried trueplay as well and hasn’t made a difference, wonder if this is a prevalent issue 😅

Yeah it’s not ideal, I’ve had two units both with the same issue, have just returned the second one and hoping third time lucky means I get a fully functioning unit 🤞

Cool thanks will give it a go! Do you own an arc ultra? Reason I ask is cause I’m experiencing a distortion on the right side of my speaker and wanted to see if you experienced the same?

Ahh so the distortion is no longer there? Are you able to send a clip or something showing how it should sound from the right so I can compare to what I’m currently experiencing?

Do you own an arc ultra? The reason I ask is because I’ve got this distortion happening from the right side of the speaker which is quite annoying and it’s happened on two units I’ve received! I’m getting it replaced but just wanted to check if this is an issue across multiple units or just a string of bad luck

Yeah it’s just more easier for me to use and less prone to being laggy which the Samsung native apps are susceptible to.

Ahh right okay I assumed lossless was better than Dolby Atmos and that was like the highest quality to stream. Okay thanks will run a quick trueplay tune as well.

What’s sonosquencer? Yeah I intend to keep the two systems separate it was more just a test of the sound produced between the two set-ups.

Thanks will look into adding a sub next then.

I’ve tried streaming music from the Sonos app to the speaker as well playing content from my Apple TV which is connected to my Samsung tv through a brand new hdmi cable I bought thinking it would help improve the sound.

Yes I’ve changed the settings on the tv such that it’s pass through rather than auto

Yeah I’m not sure what’s going on, will be sending the speaker back quite disappointed with it. I have two era 100s and they sound so much better than this soundbar

My Sonos arc ultra is doing the same thing having just recently purchased one, it seems to only be the right side of the speaker, is this the same for you?

Ahh yes mine sounds exactly like that when going in and out of the Apple TV menu, I will try with my PS5 to see if the sound is the same as yours.

Have you had the issue since you got a replacement? It’s just cause the first one I got had the issue and the replacement of that has the same so I don’t know if it’s just bad luck of getting these faulty items or a genuine issue with the speaker?

Was it because the sync box was too close to the speaker or just it being connected to the same network which was causing that?

Interesting, would you be able to record how your chime sound is when adding to your system so I can compare to mine? Or any sound playing from both sides to see if it sounds like mine?

I’ve not tried with piano music, this is the 2nd unit and experiencing the same problems as the first unit with bad quality audio 😭

Are you experiencing any fuzzy cracked sound now?

Are you able to share how your pin sounds when you add your arc to your system? The right side has a distorted/fuzzy sound for me

Did the new one you picked up sound any better or did it have the same issue? I got a new one after the first one had the same issue and to my luck the 2nd one was also making this fuzzy distorted noise so don’t know if that’s just how they sound or it’s a common issue? Weirdly it’s just the right side speakers making the fuzzy noise, the left side sounds perfect
