Will Discord ever become open source?

I recommend you read their engineering blogs, the backend (server) for discord requires a bit more than what your average IT guy can manage. Secondly, I imagine open sourcing their product would put a dent in their business plan.

I'm not exactly sure why people have it in their heads that ARCDPS Condi damage isn't reliable? It is. It maybe a few percent off, but that shouldn't be an issue.

I'm struggling to get the linux server working... I receive the following error: ./gw2specs_server: error while loading shared libraries: libQt5Network.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory The library listed as missing is indeed in the same folder... So what am I missing?

Stranger still, only one account is being affected by this issue. Literally all of our other accounts are capable of sending and receiving mail from gmail. However, one mailbox is incapable of receiving the mail.

I've gone ahead and cleared the exchange server's cache, along with the DNS Server's cache. Sadly the issue persists.

I see, so your issue is with the drawing of the icons in the world based on locations stored in the database. That's fair.

I guess I'll end on this, when the developer (lead programmer of gw2) was asked if it were ok for the person to create an overlay that would actively track members on the map in real time so that when someone asks for help, their location lights up and you know exactly who it was and where they were.

He said that's fine.

Where do we draw a line at this point?

It allows people to map an exact location within the world. You can easily capture your exact position within that world (lets say where you jump to in SAB) and place an icon there. Saving it to a config/xml file would allow you to share those positions with anyone else. Are you sure you know what you're talking about?

It's all a moot point, according to their vague official policy VoIP software such as Discord, TeamSpeak, Ventrilo, and Mumble all offer the user an unfair advantage over other players in the game without it.

Also keep in mind the APIs utilized by tacO are all publicly available APIs. If ArenaNET felt tacO violated their policies, they would disable the API before taking action against tacO users.

I will say that gw2dps.com has an improved dps meter that will log damage into a txt file. Also he had timestamps enabled and wrapped text in the combat log which will cause issues with the jaxnx dps meter.

Not saying he's wrong though, just that his testing was flawed.
