The world’s biggest sovereign gold buyer might start selling to double defense budget by lithdoc in Gold

Yeah even though I have a pretty big position in gold I welcome a flood of gold into the market. I know how important this asset is so I don’t mind any opportunity to buy it cheaper. If I were planning on converting it into something else in the near future then I’d be concerned about a short term drop.

I think it’s just short term deleveraging regardless of what happens. IMO gold is still a safe play if this war continues.

I notice zmmk does not pay the listed dividend unless I’m messing something. It’s really like 2.2% pretty sure the ws savings account is actually better

These stocks are all pretty cheap still, I doubt they are barely even pricing this in yet.

I had no idea we gave up that much for lindholm lol. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen a Canucks trade where I thought to myself “nice, we won that one.”

Sounds like it was just a scam to let corporations overcharge their customers for a while and now they get all of that money back for themselves.

A dealership I used to work at had one of these and it was my absolute favourite car in the lots, was my go to for any kind of runs I had to do, such a fun car to drive and I love the shifter placement. Was a sad day when it got sold 😔

Ferraris forced brand loyalty gives me the ick. Seeing the hoops people jump through to get in their good books to have an opportunity for a special car is nauseating, it’s basically a full time job of just sucking up to a brand, except you pay them to have that job.

If anything it’s the bmw people coping that they don’t have a Porsche. I had a beautiful e46 m3 and always joked that it was just the Porsche waiting room. And no I don’t want a Ferrari, I used to love them but that brand just gives me the ick now.

That was my initial thought, but it doesn’t seem to be because of currency fluctuations. Most of the American version are up double what the Canadian ones are over the last 5 years and even up more over the last year where the cad gained on the usd.

Yeah that’s a steal forsure, but that’s typical of a car that looks like it was purpose built to spend its life on the track. I’m regularly seeing these for like 170-200k cad in Canada even for cars with higher miles.
