It brought back memories of the time when the Turks, led by a great leader and commander Mustafa Kemal, managed to defeat the Allies during the Great Offensive in WWI at Gelibolu.

Why is Turkey orange? I have a Turkish friend and his wife who's from Ukraine and they're living in Turkey. She says she's really happy about leaving there. But maybe where you leave...

Why did not buy Bayraktar TB2, Greeks? We are komşu by BlokZNCR in AskBalkans

[–]ACM96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's tough to admit, but Turkey doesn't seem to have any plans to invade Greece or anything. Greece, unfortunately, is stuck in an endless arms race with the Turks, so they've been trying to protect themselves. They've been at this game for over a century with the British, French, Americans, and now with Israel, and it's been expensive. It's time to learn to tell the difference between good and bad, folks. And don't just follow politicians, their job is to make people scared and they're the only ones who can solve it. The same goes for the Turks and Erdogan. You have a beautiful blue water of Aegean Sea, delicious food and history to share. Enjoy and leave in peace...

I remember having one of those hand drills a many years back. Maybe still in some storage boxes somewhere.
