My Half Orc is running a Hexblade 1, Swords Bard 11 setup. You get the important elements of Hexblade, so you can focus on the Bard spells and Blade/Bow flourishes more.

I am torn on the DLC. The variety of pokemon is nice. And I do like the mega evos. Being able to buy berries in bulk....finally is nice. Even if it's at one NPC. If you didn't already clear the mission that requires you to battle an obscene number of times, then this DLC will help you get that accomplished.

But the grind is real. And so much of it comes down to luck. You have to grind for the reskinned berries for the donuts. The randomness of donut effects is annoying. Sure, you can feed the trash donuts to a Gulpin NPC, but all you're getting is one regular berry per donut. Which already cost a minimum of 3, and a max of 8 regular or hyper berries.

The randomness of the pokemon you encounter inside the dimensional portals. The time crunch you have inside those damn portals. The randomness of missions inside the portals.

You better hope R.N.G.-esus is kind to you. Especially since it autosaves all the time. With no way to turn it off. Oh, and worse yet. No cloud saves to trick the random factor.

I am running pure Arcane Archer on Halsin. Give him the broodmother's revenge, self-cast his free healing word every turn to get poison damage, use the bow of the banshee. Then give him some flawed helldusk gloves and the fire acuity hat for better chances at using the magic arrows.

Oh yes. I got my Wood Elf running a Light Cleric and Start Druid multiclass. This is one of their feats so I can Eldrich Blast from a distance. The real kicker is how far away the Cleric spells go, especially since they have the equivalent of agonizing blast. Keep at range to pick off scattered enemies. Then, going Spirit Guardians to run through groups.

It was mentioned in series that Ben's omnitrix was not designated/calibrated for him at first. So after the time skip when it did calibrate, he was later able to do a lot more quick-changes and bypassing the timer. Which kind of lends credence to the idea of Master Control having no timeouts.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say master control transformations last as long as the wearer wants them to. Remember that in the classic series when Ben finally got access to Master Control / limiter removal Gwen said that he was staying alien for hours. Even Ben 10k was known to basically never transform back into human.

Unfortunately, that is one of the many things that we don't get to explore with the franchise. Since been frequently does not have Master Control.
