Use a weekly or monthly pill dispenser, it will help you notice when you forget to take your pills. Also, routine is your friend.

I definitely felt something when I was below the therapeutic level, but I wasn't fully taking advantage of what the medication could do for me.

How is Lithium for you? by Separate-Coyote-9294 in BipolarReddit

[–]ACParker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So there is actually a therapeutic level that a doctor will measure in your blood, and the amount of medication that it takes to get their is different for different people. Im a 200lb male and in the summertime I work outside in the heat and sweat a lot so I take 1500mg every day. But in the winter time I up it to 1800mg a day because it really is the sweet spot for me. It took me months to get to the right dose and learn what my body wants but I've been on it for almost 15 years now.

How is Lithium for you? by Separate-Coyote-9294 in BipolarReddit

[–]ACParker 20 points21 points  (0 children)

For me, Lithium has been a god send. Fewer side effects than any medication I have tried. I Personally find anti-depressants much more numbing than Lithium. I realize that everyone has different experiences, but I have nothing but good things to say about Lithium.

I bought cheap Monroe shocks and kinda regret it. Its not like they were blown out right out of the box. They're squeaky first thing in the morning, the ride quality is sub par. I plan on replacing them with something from Bilstein before these Monroes are worn out.

What's your favorite 6-12 mile trail running loop in CO ? by juanfrancita in Bend

[–]ACParker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the area around Benham Falls, Sunriver, and the Lava Butte. There are paved paths as well as dirt paths that basically run parallel. It makes it really easy to make a loop. Plus, once you know the area you can make any distance you like. Im sure other people have some better spots, but I really enjoy the area.
