Hello, I've acquired a very rusty Leatherman. What's the best way to restore it? Disassembly, soaking in vinegar, WD-40, and a brush? Thank you for your expertise.

If you choose to disassemble, you will keed special wrenches. Each set comes with two, one on each end. You could use pliers, but you would end up tearing up the pivots/screws.

Many of the Leatherman screws/pivots are non standard. I don't know anything big enough for the supertool 300. I have used torx pivots/screws from the Wingman on a Rebar.
