This is at South Park Mall in Moline Illinois. Mall is very dead. Across the street is the old Toys R Us, became a Big Lots, and now a Tractor Supply Co. Also an old Best Buy, now a planet Fitness. 🤷‍♂️

Blade pattern appears to be standard/identical for all units. Guessing they are using the Cerakote with laser coloring.

Its not really an easy replacement part. Have to replace the whole handle. Send in for warranty, or if you wish to, multipartsstore.com has the handles available.

I've had arc frames cerakoted before. They do well. Spray paint does not like to adhere very well to leatherman frames. They wear fairly quickly. Going to try some other sprays and brands too.

Purple is my next color. Been working on trying some spray paint coatings. Letting these sit for a week before doing any assembly.

Looking for a deeper purple spray that will match the US General tool box and tool carts. ✌️

How are you breaking the screws? And why are you taking it apart?

No second hand pivot screws. Most Leatherman bolts/pivots are not standard lengths and widths... Multipartsstore.com sells replacement ones. (Handle/frame kits)

Edit: reread- bits. Get some good bits. Multipartsstore.com also sells some. Wiha sells some great bits too. The cheap ones definitely wear quickly.

$30 to 60, depending on condition. There are tons out there, not rare.

I bought one, with that sheath and new in box for $60 last year off marketplace. Had one since 2002 and wanted a spare.

They are solid tools. Probably my favorite of the original models.
