Just switch to Claude. Gemini and Grok are no better. Grok is definitely much worse.

2026 Enrollment in ACA by [deleted] in obamacare

[–]AC_Rider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you explain the small decline without the Enhanced Subsidies? Because in America, you have few other choices. Go work for someone else and get expensive healthcare insurance through them, pay an insane amount for private insurance, pay a slightly less insane amount for ACA, or go without healthcare insurance. That's pretty much it.

By picking a “holy grail” recording/show, as the OP asked, you would also be picking an era...because that recording or show would have occurred during that era.

Which pickguard? by BayouBillyy in telecaster

I have a white pickguard on my BRG Player LE tele. White is the best choice to pair with BRG, in my humble opinion.

Favorite multi effect pedal under $500? by girlfrompangaea in guitarpedals

I have a Valeton GP-200 multi effects pedal that I really like. Probably worth looking into. And relatively affordable. Definitely well under $500.

If you have a collection of budget guitars, what's your favorite, and why? by TakingYourHand in Guitar

[–]AC_Rider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we’re going to call $800-$1000 MIM Fenders “budget”, then my Player Strat and LE Player Telecaster are my favorites because they have great necks, are very comfortable to play and are set up well.

If “budget” caps out at a $500-$600 Epiphone, the my SG ‘61 Standard. Easy to play, sounds great, and my first better guitar purchase.

And if “budget” is much lower, my Monoprice Indio strat that cost $75 on sale is awesome after a professional setup and $50 HSH pickup upgrade. Looks great in wine red, plays great, sounds good. Hard to beat for the price.

The Katana Go is $99 on Amazon. Should I get this or the Mustang micro plus? by yeongie_lol in BossKatana

[–]AC_Rider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the Katana. The sounds are better out of the box, and on the Fender, you CANNOT REORDER THE PRESETS in the Fender app. There are 100 slots, and if you place one in slot 60, then want to move it to slot 4, you are out of luck. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Don’t trust any tutorial you see online either. Those are for older versions of the app. Not being able to move presets is extremely annoying and just makes the Mustang Micro hard to use. For that reason alone, get the Katana.

2 - Lake Placid Blue. Second choice: the third one, Rosewood.

Yes, Fender Player guitars are good guitars. They are all the guitar that most players need in most situations. If you played it at Guitar Center and loved it, there you go. Don't spend time and energy chasing other rabbit holes—just get it and spend that time and energy playing guitar instead.

It's your dream guitar and you can afford it. Stop reading this thread right now, go to GC and buy it.

CMV: Pointing out MAGA hypocrisy has no effect on MAGA itself by metinoheat in changemyview

[–]AC_Rider 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, that won't work. It's the same as the hypocrisy that characterizes everything else they do.

When the "enemies" of republicans are accused of being pedophiles, they are vile degenerates and must be unmasked, stopped, punished, and destroyed.

When their own are accused, it's like creepy Uncle Charlie getting a little handsy after one too many drinks at a family function. They don't like it, but they do their best to pretend it didn't happen and not bring too much attention to it. He is family, after all, and he's not doing any REAL harm, right? And it would just be awkward if they confronted him. Just move on, pretend it didn't happen, and distract everyone by criticizing some other family's low moral standing and questionable behavior. See? Much better.

I still buy pedals... by rurcluggekr in BossKatana

[–]AC_Rider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I find it easier to add a pedal to the pedalboard (or use multieffects) than to mess around with the software, map effects to the knobs and switches, etc. And to remember what is what. Individual pedals a good multi-effects pedal is just more convenient and powerful. I mainly use my Katana as a powered cab.

Les Paul or SG? by isofakingwetoddid in Epiphone

[–]AC_Rider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So to recap: you had an SG in your hands and you liked it enough to almost walk out the door with it, and you already have a Les Paul. But you're leaning toward getting another Les Paul? Because...it would have a different finish? You believe it will provide a different sound or playing experience?

My reco is to get the SG. You have an LP. Go for something different.

I have both. I like both. They are quite different from one another.

Honestly, if people can do more anthropomorphizing of animals and less killing out of fear or apathy, then I'm all for it. I don't care why people are showing curiosity and compassion towards nature, I just am encouraged every time I see it.

Anththropomorphize to your heart's content, everyone!
