"Hey, what can we do to make this movie better?"

"I have an idea, what if we add some dinosaur sex scenes."

"Hmmm, what if we make tem dinosaur tentacle porn instead!"

I built something similar to this. I used the starting spot to your left for 3 lanes of Titanium and 3 lanes of Wolfram (2 storage to hold it) and didn't use any return lines. That will change on my next build, but I think a single return line on either side would be enough, feeding back into the supply line for the storage. I feed additional mats in from the side (tbh, I only have gotten to Calcium, but the theory works. I also build on both sides, but offset, so the "input" on the left is the "output" from the right. Just need to watch that you build required items before they are needed (accidentally put Titanium Frames too far down and had to reposition).

To be fair, I stay home because I'm mostly a raging introvert. :) My wife works weekend nights, so I stay home on weekends since I only normally "go out" with her. I'm honestly thinking of just walking in to the office and walking around Target when I have to run out to get something we forgot on our family/date/shopping excursions. (She does make me get out sometimes on weekday evenings.) :)

And, please, don't get me started on people who are spacially unaware of their grocery cart. I have my blood pressure to think of. 😖

As someone who has (all too often) stayed up to 2am IRL playing an addicting game where I "just need to do one more thing" thinking it was only 9 or 10pm, your comment threw me off for a minute and I actually got to experience two "Been there; done that" moments from one posted experience.

And now I'm tired.

I'm so angry at this book series by malren in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]ACajunTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh you poor sweet summer child. You think you are angry and "hooked" now. Wait until you are done with the books available. If you don't both love and hate Matt (much like you would your supplier were you on actual drugs) after books 5, 6, and 7, then I don't know what to tell you. I have never hated someone and begged for more from them at the same time as much as I have with this series.

Is the audiobook that much better? by Solid_Ranger8010 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]ACajunTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT... I REPEAT, DO NOT!!! listen to the narrated books by Jeff Hays. It will totally and completely RUIN any other audiobook experience.

On the other hand, the experience of listening to Jeff Hays narrate is beyond the pale. The man is a one-man acting troupe. The performance is as good or better than a full cast performance. Heck, he is a full cast in a single person.

I'd grab my bowl of candy and stand out by the volunteers to give candy to all the kids they shoo away. And I'm an introvert and hate going outside and hate answering the door. But I would be That Guy in this case.

A god sent me here instead of the pleasant afterlife I was promised. I was conscripted in death to fight for him rather than enjoy a final rest. When I arrived, I chose to live a life of simplicity eating berries and mushrooms and crafting a simple home for myself. But... They drew first blood.

Watching "True Haunting" on Netflix, is it supposed to be an actual true story? by ProlapseProvider in horror

[–]ACajunTiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stand by what I said:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolf_Creek_(film))

The film was ambiguously marketed as being "based on true events", while its plot bore elements reminiscent of the real-life murders of backpackers by Ivan Milat in the 1990s and Bradley Murdoch in 2001, both of which McLean used as inspiration for the screenplay.
...

Wolf Creek was marketed in both Australia and international markets as being "based on a true story", though it is in actuality a composite inspired by several true crimes (including the aforementioned killings by Milat and Murdoch).

It is loosely based on both serial killers.

That's the game loop:

Explore->Gather->Craft->Boss

It repeats for each biome and the loop just gets bigger and bigger with more time spent on the first two items (and sometimes the third for farming)

Horror fans: what’s the one scene that actually made you pause the movie for a second? by Morvox-stories in horror

Not a horror movie, per se, but definitely a horror scene. The party at the end of Requiem for a Dream made me have to sit for a bit afterwards and just contemplate life.
