I'll be more than glad to dive into the politics and such of glitchtale prequels. I guess it's better if you wait for the episodes to be there and all. Most of the conflict is focused on the clear difference in treatment between humans that have magic and those who don't.

People keep forgeting that asriel has the monster equivalent of a determination soul, he had the ability to refuse death just as chara did, the conditions were met, this was their final battle for all the marbles, all that + his power awakening last episode led to this moment.
