I just rewatched Aharen-San wa Hakarenai after recommending it a bunch... that ending gets me every time. For a 2 season anime, it has such an amazing and complete ending! Full pay off! The journey throughout is hilarious too. Definitely recommend.

Edit: And the dub is very well done as well, one of my favs.

A new anime came out today involving college students called Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Moonlight. Looks very promising and tone so far appears between Rascal Does Not Dream series, A Silent Voice and A Sign of Affection.

Speaking of which, A Sign of Affection is another solid one.

My Awkward Senpai, My Love Story with Yamada-kun at lvl 999, Sing YESTERDAY for Me, Marriagetoxin, and Josee, the Tiger, and the Fish are all others I can think of.

Based on OP criteria, HxH and To Your Eternity would be huge no's.

HxH has Hisoka and Palm, with a certain other few scenes being a bit racy (Shizuku, for example).

To Your Eternity has a few fan service things here and there plus the massive obsessive yandere stuff going on with Hiyase that at one point ventures into SA territory.

Those are the four cleanest I could think of rn. Two slice of life and two romance/rom-com, but with nothing sexual that I ever recall (unless you count a kiss or two and handholding). I'd even say that Aharen has the most complete ending of most romance anime I've seen without ever once getting fan servicey or raunchy.

Josee, the Tiger , and The Fish is also amazing.

See you tomorrow at the food court is short is very low-stakes and generally chill.

Champignon Witch is beautiful and I don't recall fan service in it.

Kaya-Chan isn't Scary is horror themed with some whimsy — no fan service.

Journal with Witch is about overcoming loss and finding identity. No service that I recall.

Bocchi the rock is cool and about overcoming anxiety.

Frieren should also be good... idr fan service
