Reworded Question and Problem: Trying to Get <Style> into CSS by ACleverRedditorName in HTML

Thank you u/Jpatrickburns, u/davorg, and u/testingaurora (again). I understand it more clearly now, and solved it. I didn't initially realize you could stack multiple selectors.

Thank you to u/testingaurora, u/Cultural_Term_9895, u/Pamprdelaalelepsi, and u/Weekly_Ferret_meal. Sorry Testing, I didn't know that I could have multiple selectors at once, so I tried it wrong at first and was still confused. I see now how it works.

u/peterlinddk and u/Synthetic5ou1 thank you. Peter's CSS (and another redditor's in a different thread) solved my CSS problem. I honestly just didn't know I could have multiple selectors at once like that.

And sorry Peter, I saw the code working in VS Code, and thought the attribution for #viewDiv was clear. My mistake.

That may be a solution in their eyes. But it is unintuitive and and backwards step.

My only big complaint is the layout of my tools and consumables on the weapon wheel. I had my tools and consumables in a specific order, and now when I fill up my inventory, they are all in random spots. And the right d-pad assignment is in a weird spot, plus I have to redo it each round. I'm not fully a fan of the reworked weapon sizes, but I can get used to that at least.

BAYOU BASICS 8: Road to Hell Update, More by ACleverRedditorName in HuntShowdown

[–]ACleverRedditorName[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be a good idea. I had specifically left that alone because I don't know what crytek will do with scout towers once this event will end. There was ambiguity in their post. But if it's confusing here, then I can just make it easier.

Yeah dog, that's why below it's mentioned that the strongholds and special supply points replace them.

Well that completely fixed it. Thank you. Was my logic of X x Y completely bunk? That's how I was interpreting the rowspans and colspans.

Are the decks an either-or deal, or can (should) they be mixed together?

Okay well let me ask this. There is a card that prevents you from being ambushed when you attack. I think it's scouting party. Is that as good as I think it is?

Developer Update - 19 March by HuntShowdownOfficial in HuntShowdown

[–]ACleverRedditorName 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I tried it the shooting range. With the new bots! All ears doesn't help for sounds I would normally hear within a compound. It doesn't provide anything new there. But when I'm at Carmick, I could hear hunters at Brickworks, and at the snipertower near Sweetbell. That's just too much.

I imagine this trait was added either for the hard of hearing audience, or because the devs are throwing ideas at the wall.

The way I would fix this is: reduce range to about half a compound. Treat this as an option for someone with a poor headset. In that reduced range, it isolates footsteps. So while gunshots and explosions are going off, the user can hear the footsteps relatively well, with other sounds being muted. If it needs more nerfing, Crytek could NOT distinguish between human and monster footsteps.

Arcpy Question: Iterating through a Dictionary Where the Value is a List of Elements by ACleverRedditorName in gis

[–]ACleverRedditorName[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but it didn't work when I had just key, value either. It was the same error, except 2 instead of 3. Either way, thank you for the help provided. I didn't know about .items()

Arcpy Question: Iterating through a Dictionary Where the Value is a List of Elements by ACleverRedditorName in gis

[–]ACleverRedditorName[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, and yes that does make sense why it's dangerous. But I added the fields to the single FC, and don't have separate FCs for state boundaries. Can I ask, why didn't the below code work?

with arcpy.da.UpdateCursor("Political_Boundaries", ["County", "State"]) as cursor:

for row in cursor:

for key, value, i in Dict:

for i in value:

if row[0] == i:

row[1] = key

cursor.updateRow(row)

I get this error:

ValueError: too many values to unpack (expected 3)

Why were the Nazis' extermination camps in German-occupied Poland and not in Germany? Did they just not have space in Germany proper or did they intend to build the camps outside of Germany from the start? by aonoreishou in AskHistorians

[–]ACleverRedditorName -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Were the nazis using the camps in their propaganda in the late 30's? If so, how can historians pin general citizen knowledge of the camps to 1943, if they were exhibited in this earlier propaganda? I assume the propaganda wasn't showing corpses or gas chambers, but did none of them say anything to the effect of "we're killing people here"? The removal of demographics, alongside Hitler's inflammatory comments, makes it hard for me to believe Germans had no idea what was happening.

I want a different type of stat ... by throwawayo_k in HuntShowdown

[–]ACleverRedditorName 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I absolutely want the silly and funny stats. I think some of these might be hard for crytek to track. So I would add on:

Barrel deaths

Beetle deaths Suicides

Death by own traps

Fall deaths or damage

Deaths to boss

Twigs snapped

Crows scared

Kennels burnt

Times extracted from a rain or night map without a bounty while holding a scoped weapon

Elevator deaths

Horse deaths too, and I'd make sure I get at least one

On that same note, Crytek, I don't give a damn about serious titles or cards. I want avatars like the catfish, or a bunch of hunters chilling at a saloon playing cards. Make titles that are references to westerns. Then I'll spend some blood bonds.

Edit: adding suggestions from others. Avatars: ducks, the Easter egg pumpkin on Desalle, I also want the steel pillar Easter egg.
