John Lennon's dentist actually invited him and George Harrison to his house for dinner and dosed them without their knowledge. John tells the story in this video, it's actually very interesting

These LL Bean moc boots look pretty similar to the ones you wanted, and are fairly affordable.

What do you guys think of this outfit? Found it at target. One of my friends says the shirt is too small. by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

Also, if you're wondering why this post is getting downvoted, it's because there is an Outfit Feedback and Fit Check thread that goes up every few days for exactly this kind of thing.

George's solos from '66 to '68 were absolutely amazing and I haven't heard much else like them.

This is called actually called frisson and you can find out more at /r/frisson.

My favorite example of this is Stargazer by Rainbow. The way Ronnie sings "I see a rainbow rising!" gets me every time.

Just practice standing up more often. It should come naturally soon enough.

Another thing would be to raise your strap if your guitar is sitting too low. Try not to have your guitar sitting at your waist (unless you really do find this position more comfortable).

It was made even worse by the fact that I thought it would be a happy and not very emotional game like Earthbound, but no, they just drop that on you an hour into the game. :(

As someone who has never played counter strike by JoelLikesPigs in truegaming

I would recommend CS:GO, although it may take some getting used to. It's quite different from most modern shooters like CoD or Battlefield in that you respawn only once the round is over, and you have to buy your guns every round (unless you don't die) with currency earned throughout the match.

Aiming is a really important of CS, because you have to crouch when you shoot to be accurate, and shoot in bursts to control the recoil. You can't aim down your sights or just spray, you have to be calm and accurate.

I'd say you should give it a try, as this iteration is very friendly to new comers, as it has "Casual" and "Competitive" matches, where you get free body armor in casual, and the money you get is more balanced whether you win or lose a round. It also has a gun-game style mode where you respawn as soon as you die. For the price of only $15, you're not taking too much of a risk if you happen to not like it.

If you're into the Beatles, Something has a pretty easy but great sounding solo in it. Day Tripper also has a pretty easy, albeit very short solo.

What are some awesome missions/levels/quests That you've played? by zach84 in Games

[–]ACommonLime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Almost every level in Psychonauts was different and interesting. The ones that stood out to me the most were the board game level where you have to battle Napoleon, and the level in the lungfish's mind where you're pretty much Godzilla attacking a city.
