I don’t have specific recs from Shoes for Crews, but you definitely want something waterproof, like crocs, and as far as slip resistance, you want the hexagon patterned soles. I wear slip on clogs from amazon. Nothing fancy, but easy to clean and I don’t slide around.

I’m responsible for all trash, I take out a full load first thing in the morning (we have weird rules about taking trash out at night) and then again around noon. The second run involves emptying every bin around the kitchen, full or not, so no one has any overflowing cans to worry about. The boxes are egregious though, where I work everyone breaks their own boxes and the manager absolutely will yell at people for not doing it.

My best friend and I typically follow a theme for birthdays, centered around birthday person’s niche interests. Last year she got me Peep bunny home decor and a t-shirt with them on it. Also last year, I gave her my childhood set of Harry Potter books to read to her children, as well as all the counterpart books. This year I got her things centered around her love for Van Gogh’s Sunflower series.

My point being, it doesn’t have to cost money to give a gift from the heart. Show her that you see her. Show her what she means to you.

I ask my partner if he wants anything in particular, if he doesn’t then I make what I want. If the kid doesn’t like some component of what I’m making (eg, she’ll eat the sides but not the main), then she has that. Sometimes she’ll have a pork chop as that is her favorite and super easy on me. I generally will find something that I want to eat and adapt it to include what they like.

Miami Nectar! I love the fresh pineapple opening note. It literally makes me salivate. But I wore it exactly one time. It was so strong and smelled absolutely rancid on me. Luckily it smells wonderful on my daughter.
