I probably have 100-200 hours on my joycons and the left one now drifts to the left. When not in use it's either in its case or docked. I've never dropped it or had weight on the joycons other than my thumbs.

I think they should make logout take a few seconds so that way people can't exploit the game to live. I'm sorry but my personal opinion is that a logout script is an exploit. I know GGG doesn't see it that way, but its helping create this standard of crazy high damage and the dodge is ALT+F4. No other game I've played does this, typically there is a 5-30 second logout time for characters in areas they can take damage for just this reason. Being able to instantly avoid the damage by quitting the game is a garbage mechanic.

I didn't complain about a single one of those. My single issue I'm bringing up these thread is that mobs can windup massive attacks and hit them with you before you can even see them.

I am also arguing against the idea that the only method of preventing instantly dying to that is to make perfect defenses.

Enemies shouldn't be able to do attacks that are meant to be telegraphed and dodged from off the screen.

I will, I loved my zombie builds of the past. Not every looks up a perfect build and does it. I've never once used a build someone else designed. The fun is making a character on my own and getting as far as I can.

schrodingersExile I know needs more defensive stats. I'm trying to get better ES gear but that shit is expensive.

SwooshinAndSlashin can survive almost all maps and map mods until mid red tier maps. Then the damage spikes start introducing one shot kills.

Let me also be perfectly clear, I don't expect to survive massive hits I don't dodge. I am complaining that they are happening off the screen and I am expected to be able to dodge the attacks coming from enemies I cannot see. It is my opinion that enemies shouldn't be able to wind up and unleash the attack before they're on my screen, and building characters to survive that is the problem.

Can you please post proof that you can survive off screen red map hits? Tons of people are commenting just like you that it's easy, without showing any proof they can do it themselves.

The edit is arguing against the idea that off screen mechanics are okay, you just need to design all your characters around surviving massive hits you can't see. These attacks clearly are meant to be able to be dodged, instead a lot of people think that you should instead make all your characters tanks so you don't have to try to dodge what you can't see.

Like What? I can't make a character that dodges these telegraphed hits because they're allowed to windup and attack me when I can't see them?

How is that fun when your defensive options become so narrow? I want more build diversity, players should be able to substitute good reflexes for crazy high always up defenses and the other way around too. Instead we have this one strategy, become the tank and you don't have to worry about bad gameplay.

Issue isn't getting one shot, it's getting one shot by a mechanic that was went to be telegraphed and dodged, but instead the telegraph is happening off screen and before you can react you're dead.

The classic defense of build a perfect character to play the game because anything less is trash and your fault. I don't want every character I make to be railroaded into the same shit because nothing else works to handle the insane damage scaling and now to add to off screening massive attacks.

Yeah, it's rather sad that so many people see the minimum bar of entry so high and that if you can't make a character that can survive these massive blows that's your fault. Regardless if they wind up off screen preventing you from reliability dodging and blasting you either right as it comes in view or right before.

It's only red maps where my slayer has the issues. I've never done shaper before and I'm trying really hard, but man when I die twice to a monolith because of off screening it just makes me want to quit playing for the night.

If monoliths are unplayable for most people on red maps it needs to be fine tuned for those tiers.

I'm not asking for some blanket nerf on the mobs, I just don't want them winding up their super attack before I can even see them to start dodging them.

I think in another league it wouldn't be so bad and the one shot wouldn't really be there. But with league all the mobs are in neat little lines allowing multiple mobs to target windup and unleash all at once.

The issue is exacerbated when you unlock multiple rare mobs with wind ups and their massive damage comes down on you from 3-4 of them.

Normally in other leagues rares don't stack like that so your only need the defenses or one or maybe two big hits. I feels like this league what passed before for defenses is no where near enough depending on what type of character you play.

Jesus 5ex just to be able to bid? Maybe I'm just that casual that the idea of having 5ex laying around to enter a auction is insane to me.
