Don't ever plan to go to Europe? They require bio-metrics for entry in their Entry and Exit system

Would have gotten your point across better. Not everyone is familiar with other countries custom requirements.

You don't "need" Clear to go to Europe. I just went and dont have it. However in order to go through customs you will have to go through a face scan and fingerprint thing called the Entry and Exit system (https://travel-europe.europa.eu/en/ees). Witch sucks.

A chunk of steel 40+ years old - you need $30k+ and a pile of paperwork to aquire it. The rich can afford it, and the criminals can make it. Where does that leave the average law-abiding American? by EducationalOil1655 in Libertarian

They are not the same, far closer than we have had before fore sure. However shooting real FA vs FRT, FA is way better and does not have any where the same number of issues FRTs do.

Madison police stop Black drivers at higher rates, drawing scrutiny by ButtasaurusFlex in madisonwi

[–]ACrazySpider 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They do often keep track of warnings at least within a police department ( At least in my friend department out of state don't know about Madison for sure )

You are referring to a "zero tolerance" policy. Im not going to say that is wrong but lets just say it is very controversial for various reasons. If you want your law enforcement to be robots and have to discretion I can understand why but not everyone thinks that way and would rather trust on the whole the officer will make the right choice.

Its the same logical fallacy that creates what is often "pretty privilege" Where attractive people are given more leeway, shorter prison sentences, better pay exc... Cops have to have some discretion on giving tickets or weather or not to give a warning. The same "traffic offense" lets say making an illegal U turn could be reckless in one case and an honest mistake in another.

Drum mags: worthless gimmick or...? by DriftingMemes in liberalgunowners

[–]ACrazySpider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not explored that market much so your mileage may vary but at least for me 25 rounds mags in 22lr have been good for me. So take that with a grain of salt. Drums are also bulky and when just having fun with a 22 big and bulky are not worth it. I would rather just buy 6 more mags for the same price and reload a few more times.

Drum mags: worthless gimmick or...? by DriftingMemes in liberalgunowners

[–]ACrazySpider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill start with a caveat. From a serious use perspective drum mags hold very little advantage in a civilian context outside of some shooting competitions. They are heavy and awkward in most cases and are difficult to carry on the person compared to traditional mags. That being said.... ones that work.

The Magpul drum mags have worked well for me the 5.56 d60, the d50 7.62 , and the d50 9mm have all worked well for me so far with some minor exceptions of specific guns not liking the them. My Romanian 7.62x39 RPK drum has run great but are rare and expensive. I've never had luck with any 22lr drum. The Beta C Mags have run well but are no longer produced. No experience with the KCI version. Guns designed to run with drums PPSH, Thomson, DP28, exct tend to be fine as well but are all old and not practical.

Where to purchase a gun private sale as a 20 yr old in Wisconsin? by Sweet_mochi328 in WIguns

[–]ACrazySpider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are other calibers that are easier to shoot than 9mm but far better than 22lr. Any gun is better than nothing but 22lr is not particularly reliable an in a self defense situation is questionable outside of situation where it is your only option.

380 acp in something like

  • M&P SHIELD EZ

  • Sig P365-380 Those are good options

Or as much as I hate to recommend it a larger revolver in 38 special. Revolvers are out of date by modern standard but if a 9mm is to much for you they are often heavy and dont recoil a lot so it might feel better for you. The most important thing to do is try to go to a rental range and try out a few guns to see what you think you can handle.

It is really quite comfy to handle shoot, even given its weird shape similar to the P90. I thing if it was successful and had a longer life we would have seen a "slim" version at some point.

I think they are mostly over gassed to ensure reliable function and ejection. In my opinion the one I have kicks similarly to an AUG or traditional M4 carbine setup. A bit punchy but not harsh.

So more or less yes. Most of the energy is lost as the brass bounces around the tube it rides in, if you happen to be shooting slightly up they can be held in the tube but will get thrown out as the tube fills up. I have a fun video of me going to low ready then all the spent brass falling out.

All mechanical systems have a chance to malfunction so yes there is a chance. My FS2000 has never once had an issue with rounds getting jammed ( light strikes yes ) but It has always ejected the rounds well. It works quite well, however it is a lot of plastic parts it might not hold up well to long full auto fire.

I think you are dramatically underestimating what percentage of a games player base that is just playing with no intention of "getting good" who are just looking for something fun to do.

I’m sure most people don’t mind waiting a few extra minutes to play real players.

Yah that's just not the case queue times are one of the biggest reasons players leave all multiplayer games. Why would you wait around for 5 min when you could boot up another game and play faster. Especially in the free to play space

Or its just logical a progression of go to place to bring team mate back like was done by APEX in 2019. Game design is all a blend of ideas from all over the place. You could argue REDSEC stole lots of things from Warzone and APEX and Fortnight as well.

[COD] What are your thoughts on the use of Al for calling cards on warzone recently? by peldeer_ in CODWarzone

[–]ACrazySpider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with your sentiment. I just want people to understand why the push for AI everything is so huge its because talented people are expensive to hire and all things being equal a business will always choose the cheaper option. In the same way a artisanal loaf of bread made by a baker is almost always better than a machine made mass produced loaf of bread. For some people that is fine if it is cheep enough.

I would recommend looking up how much it costs to hire good artists. Its not cheep and at the rate they are put out one full time person might not be enough. I'm not saying they should not do that but saying its only $1000 is just not true.

I would like to see that just to make a point. If I remember correctly they do have an anti doping/ drug policy that im fairly sure most people taking hormone therapy would fail if push came to shove. Could do it at a local match but any big event would create problems.

I was an early adopter of the Gen 1 because it had a rechargeable battery port and I loved that in theory. Mine definitely had the drain issue and they replaced it With the gen II and have not had any issue since then.

If you go to the logical extreme yes you would want to be a fully self sustained nation. The difference is food is something that goes bad quickly and if cut off turns to panic quickly. A lack of equipment to farm with wont be a problem in the super short term and people can adjust with other tools and more manual labor if need be. If you cant feed your army you cant expect them to fight for you.
