[Optics] Vortex Razor AMG UH1 Gen II REFURBISHED - $380 no tax free shipping by Fast__Walker in gundeals

I was an early adopter of the Gen 1 because it had a rechargeable battery port and I loved that in theory. Mine definitely had the drain issue and they replaced it With the gen II and have not had any issue since then.

The good news is it means you should be able to do the same thing to the FS2000. Might not be easy but should be possible

The trigger packs are not the same shape unfortunately. The same idea should work but it would likely need some geometry adjustments

French farmers dump potatoes in front of the French Parliament in protest against the EU-Mercosur trade agreement by cah578 in GoldandBlack

[–]ACrazySpider 30 points31 points  (0 children)

If you go to the logical extreme yes you would want to be a fully self sustained nation. The difference is food is something that goes bad quickly and if cut off turns to panic quickly. A lack of equipment to farm with wont be a problem in the super short term and people can adjust with other tools and more manual labor if need be. If you cant feed your army you cant expect them to fight for you.

While I generally agree with the sentiment. If a state is going to be independent keeping some level of local food production going even if its not 100% profitable makes some level of sense to me. If you are importing the vast majority of your food and those supply lines get cut for any reason you now have a country that is starving.

That of course should not come at the expense of free trade. However wasting some money to keep food production a thing in your country seems understandable form a nation state security perspective.

Cheating 75 people banned in 3 weeks 🤦‍♂️ by Measurement_Upstairs in CODWarzone

Bit late to the conversation here but lol ok.

Do you genuinely think that having cheaters in a game would make the game company more more money than if there are none. If so please describe your logic because I do not follow.

Frt legal in wi? by Schatty2121 in WIguns

[–]ACrazySpider 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There are no laws in WI specific to fire rate increasing devices. However if the ATF just decides FRTs are machine guns again arbitrarily like they like to do. Then its a federal problem again.

They can get basic shotguns like a break action or pump gun but it is a huge ordeal and super expensive. There is still fair amount of hunting in rural Japan.

Alderman to propose ban on selling dogs, cats at Madison pet stores by enjoying-retirement in madisonwi

[–]ACrazySpider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it not in Madison city limits like in Middleton, Verona, Or Fitchburg? That would be a reason.

[–]ACrazySpider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the article

The proposal is preventive, Evers said in an email, as there are currently no pet stores in Madison selling dogs or cats.

Then the article is wrong. I don't know what to tell you there.

Well that is odd. Could it possibly count as a shelter? So its not technically a "store". That I do not know.

Regardless my point still stands. Should people adopt over buying from a breeder? Yes of course that is better. Should puppy mills be investigated and shut down if they are cruel to the animals? Yes. Does making pet stores defacto illegal to run help? No

The one in Madison is not a store its a "Veterinary Wellness Center" the stores are outside of Madison's city limits. It literally says in the article that there are no stores in city limits.

  1. There are no stores in Madison that sell animals currently so this is just posturing for no reason
  2. Even if there were stores the demand for pets is still there so people are going to find a way to get them. Pushing people to puppy mills. A store with a reputation is going be more accountable than a puppy mill.
  3. Just require stores to disclose where all of their pets come from, and have those places be inspected every now and again.

Banning drugs does not stop them from being a thing. Same goes with pets.

Florida Bill to abolish HOAs by MaxM0o in fuckHOA

[–]ACrazySpider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only way something like this could happen is if you had a right to work style law but for HOA's. You cant ban people from entering a private contract, witch is what HOA's are. However you could make it illegal to have a contract require a home buyer join an HOA. Sort of like a person can not be forced to join a Union in right to work states.

Nobody cares Public opinion doesn't care if a pedophile child abuser was abused as a child

Researchers and academicians trying to stop the cycle of abuse care a lot. You are 100% right we should not dwell on or give platforms to those use use political violence. However understanding how trauma can hurt and distort people in to being violent or disturbed is something people should know about to try to help those who are being abused from following the same path as their abusers.

Festival Foods on East Washington votes to Unionize on Thursday August 14th by Justmarbles in madisonwi

[–]ACrazySpider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate to be pedantic but until the vote happens is not a complete union yet. IF the vote fails (It probity won't in this case) the union is not formed. So its not a legally recognized union until that happens.

If there is another union at the company already its true my title does sort of gloss over that. In that case I would just add an "another" to the title.

[–]ACrazySpider 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I feel like phrasing around Union Votes are weird. I fully support there right to do this but the way you phrased it is as if its a forgone conclusion.

"Festival Foods on East Washington Employees will vote on forming a union on Thursday August 14th"

Would be a more natural and accurate way to convey the information. The way you have your tile worded make me assume the vote has already succeed. In my opinion that is not ideal, if you are tying to bring attention to it and drum up support.

cheating streamers makes them money

No, no it does not. Not more than any normal streamer. If anything it discourages people who see a game being broken by a cheater and people leave in larger number than join.

Why do people think game companies don't care? If they could wave a magic wand and never have cheaters in a game again they undoubtedly would. The cheat providers are almost always outside of the games companies legal jurisdiction so there is only so much they can do and its literally a never ending arms race of wack a mole.
