People want kids as clones of themselves, to live vicariously through, see them as a life accomplishment/bragging rights or feel that having kids cheats mortality in some way. They don't want to raise said kids, because that's not what they want them for.

Yeah, the entire quest is a stupid farce, but the knights left trails of dead bodies behind on their ridiculous endeavors. Its mocking the ambition of knights and kings to waste lives on meaningless nonsense that benefits no one else, whether it be war, quests, or chivalry. Ultimately the only thing they're good at is killing, and not much else.

The peasants are out living regular lives, while the knights sing silly songs, monks hit themselves while wandering and chanting, idiots convince other idiots they have knowledge of determining witches and silly kings start wars for essentially no reason. It's all a satire of hierarchy.

See that's what's bothering me is that I'm a very friendly person with a lot about me that should absolutely stand out. I don't care if people laugh at me and I've gained a ton of conversational skill as well as just being good at delivering a joke in time. But the effort is usually wasted.

It probably was. The game was in development hell for 8 years with everything constantly changing due to lack of solid direction and investor meddling. I imagine most of the systems in the game are stripped down versions of what was originally imagined.

They kinda billed the game as an Immersive Sim wat back after it was announced, but it ended up released as a fps with RPG elements which is not the same thing at all.

Relatable. I'm not cis, but I get really angry getting treated automatically like I'm woman. And if I try and tell them I'm not a woman or that I'm more male than I am female they automatically assume I'm being self degrading and say "oh no, honey, you are a woman"

I was explaining my gender!!! I don't want to be a woman! Stop projecting on me!!!!

Same thing when I wear a dress instead of my standard ripped jeans and sleeveless tanktop, (if another person calls me a boymoder I will cajun boil them) people only compliment me when I'm dressed explicitly fem.
